SumBridge is partnering with a reputable public accounting firm in Auburn, WA to hire an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper. This is a hybrid opportunity ideal for a senior-level accounting professional with strong general ledger (GL) expertise, QuickBooks experience, and knowledge of Washington State tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries Identify, reconcile, and resolve general ledger discrepanciesPrepare and file Washington State taxes, including: Payroll tax Excise tax B&O tax Personal property tax Ensure financial records are accurate and tax-readyCommunicate with clients regarding accounting questions and documentation Train and support client bookkeepers on best practices Mentor junior accounting and bookkeeping staffRequired Qualifications
8+ years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or in accountingExperience working with multiple clients (public accounting or client-facing environment preferred) Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and retained earnings Experience with Washington State Department of Revenue and payroll compliance Proficiency with: QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks OnlineXero accounting softwareMicrosoft Excel (advanced) and Word Payroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, Gusto) Sales platforms (Shopify, Square, Amazon, TikTok)Ideal Candidate
