    Production Operator

    The Role:

    We’re looking for a highly motivated and conscientious individual to join our Production Team on 2nd shift (M-TH 1:45-11:15 p.m. and F 1:45-5:45 p.m.). You will be responsible for operating production machinery and equipment within the manufacturing area to produce high-quality custom-printed packaging for our customers. The ideal candidate strives to be productive, engages in open communication, and enjoys finding solutions through collaboration.

    The Production Operator plays a vital role in our company’s ability to exceed expectations and provide a superb customer experience, critical to Sttark's success built on a foundation of customer obsession and innovation. This position requires the ability to cross-train and work quickly while maintaining high-quality standards.     Strategic Responsibilities & Deliverables:

    Collaborate with other team members to solicit and share process improvements and drive efficiencies and cost savings

    Meet objectives and metrics for quality, productivity, and customer experience

    Follows directions to meet goals and expectations

    Ensures minimal mistakes or flaws

    Troubleshoot and make machine adjustments

    Complete daily and weekly maintenance tasks as needed

    Support other production areas when required to maintain workflow and efficiency

    Basic Qualifications:

    At least one year of experience in production/manufacturing

    Detailed-oriented

    Candidates must be flexible

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in print production to include press or converter operation

    Ability to analyze and solve issues

    Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift

    Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate production machinery, tools, and equipment

    Ability to safely operate and monitor production machinery within the manufacturing environment

    Ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 lbs frequently, occasionally more with assistance

    Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements as required by production tasks

    Ability to visually inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy

    Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels

    Role:

    We're looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Digital Prepress Technician to join our Graphics Team. In this role, you will use industry-leading graphics and prepress software to prepare customer-supplied artwork for high-quality printing across labels, folding cartons, and flexible packaging. This is a technical prepress position focused on artwork implementation, file preparation, proofing, and print compliance.


    The ideal candidate enjoys working with precision, solving technical file and artwork challenges, and collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure packaging artwork meets print and production requirements. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional quality and accuracy.


    The Digital Prepress Technician plays a critical role in delivering the outstanding customer experience that drives Sttark's success. As part of our Graphics Team, you will ensure customer artwork is accurately prepared, approved, and released for printing while supporting efficient, scalable, and standardized graphics workflows.

    Strategic Responsibilities & Deliverables:

    Review and apply order requirements, customer specifications, and production standards to packaging artwork files.Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork using Adobe Creative Suite and related prepress software.Create and modify packaging artwork for labels, folding cartons, and flexible packaging using customer-provided artwork, branding, and product information.Generate and distribute proofs, coordinate artwork revisions and approvals, and communicate artwork requirements with customers and internal teams.Identify and resolve artwork, file, and prepress issues independently and in collaboration with internal teams.Release approved artwork files for production in accordance with established procedures.Maintain accurate records of artwork revisions, approvals, customer communications, and order changes.Follow graphics standard operating procedures (SOPs) and utilize templates, AI tools, and standardized workflows to deliver high-quality work efficiently and accurately.Support Sttark's vision, principles, and customer-first culture through responsive and professional graphics support.


    Basic Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent.Experience using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Ability to analyze and solve problems while exercising sound judgment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications or a related fieldExperience in prepress, packaging graphics, labels, printing, or related industries.Experience preparing print-ready artwork files.Knowledge of packaging artwork, proofing, and print production processes.
