Pay Rate Range: $23.00 - $28.00
Responsible for document control activities, including handling the flow of documentation to and from our clients.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma / GED
• Must have 1-3 years of project support, document control
• Must be detail orientated and be able to recognize priority of deliverables for processing.
• Strong technical skills needed in the following: Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, etc.) with intermediate to medium skills in Excel and word.
• Must have effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Must have problem solving skills, to strive to understand contributing factors, work to resolve complex situations with appropriate management.
• Able to meet committed deadlines, work independently, accountable for work, maintains focus, be punctual, and good attendance.
Responsibilities
• Document Management: Handle the creation, review, approval, revision, and secure archival of documents. This includes document naming, classification, metadata, revision and version control. Issuance of document transmittals and official records.
• Maintains project record keeping system; ensure that all records management/document practices are performance in accordance with requirements.
• Assists with monitoring, tracking, and reporting on the status of project documents and deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are in line with the approved project plans
• Establish, maintain, and enforce document control procedures for engineering and project documents. This includes managing naming conventions, revision control, file types etc.
• Receive, review, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, procedures, reports, and correspondence.
• Ensure documents adhere to company formatting, revision, and quality standards.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and engineering teams regarding document requirements and submission schedules.
• Work in multiple EDMS
• Have a working knowledge of email and be able to manage basic documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Operate copy machines and general office equipment.
• Assist with the preparation of client meetings, reserving conference rooms, coordinating refreshments, collecting, and compiling documents, drafting correspondence, etc
• Provide routine administrative services to engineering professionals working on a project team, including maintaining electronic documents from clients and suppliers.
• Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree
1 - 3 years of document control / project support experience in an engineering office or similar business environment
Experience with database entry or other Document Management Systems. Aconex is a plus.
Comprehensive understanding of engineering documents and deliverables and can file accordingly.
Experience with file sharing (downloading, uploading, zip files)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employee will work in an office setting.

Facilities Mechanical Engineer (Contract to Hire)

DESCRIPTION:
As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our client’s semiconductor-based manufacturing. You and other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role you will collaborate with on-site personnel to support projects of varying size and complexity including assessment of systems, consulting system owners and analyzing scope requests from stakeholders. You will be responsible for interacting with the client, contractors, and site personnel in Wilton, Connecticut.
Your job includes designing, developing, evaluating, and preparing recommendations with basis of design (BOD), scope of work (SOW) documents, in addition to design, construction and specifications documents through the positional (programming) process with a team. You will also oversee engineering and construction for the facility mechanical systems work including HVAC, process cooling water, wastewater, general and acid/ammonia exhaust, fire protection, plumbing, process-piping and equipment. The work will include retrofits of existing building systems, as well as new systems.
