Project Manager Location: STRUCTURAL Nederland office covering the 'Golden Triangle' including Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange. Why STRUCTURAL? Serve as a key team member in delivering technical civil-related projects, often critical to the stability and sustainability of built structures within industrial and power generation spaces. Facilitate team collaboration in the delivery of projects, from investigation of existing conditions to implementation of technical solutions. Lead our geographically dispersed teams to deliver projects that often leverage our proprietary products, highly specialized equipment, forensic and design engineering teams, and self-perform construction professionals.     STRUCTURAL is seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team in Augusta, GA. This position is a growth opportunity for an aspiring leader and will focus on concrete repair and rehabilitation work. At STRUCTURAL, we spend our time working with our fully integrated repair companies to perform field investigations and develop repair solutions for existing structures and buildings. This position will be a role that requires in-depth knowledge of how concrete structures are designed and behave, including: industrial and power-generating buildings and structures; dynamic equipment foundations; and environmental (liquid-retaining) structures. Position Responsibilities: Perform and document inspections of concrete work to ensure compliance with the project requirements, specifications, project execution plans, codes, and industry standards. Communicates effectively, preferably in English. Other languages is an advantage. Completes daily Foreman Report, tracks and logs daily site works, verifies accuracy and submits in a timely manner. Enforces established job site policies, procedures, and standards of performance. Assemble data into reports and communicate results in writing and verbally ensuring completeness and accuracy of all inspection and testing records prior to submitting. As an Estimator for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for estimating complex self-performed construction projects that make our nations structures stronger and last longer. Projects typically consist of concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, structural strengthening, fireproofing, etc. As a successful candidate, you will also be responsible for: Preparing estimates by calculating various statistical data such as quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man-hour, equipment costs and applying to complete scope of work Defining and quantifying scope of work and preparing comprehensive conceptual, budgetary, and construction cost estimates for projects Reviewing / researching historical data and compiling summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates Maintaining involvement in uncovering sales opportunities with prospective and existing customers Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position: Candidates with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (desired not required) 3-12 years of construction estimating experience, ideally in a related industry involving self-perform, concrete repair projects. Demonstrated ability to work with a team to estimate projects of moderate complexity up to $10 Million Prior experience to estimate up to 5 projects directly and up to 5 estimates indirectly as a mentor Ability to evaluate, quantify and capture specification requirements within the estimate Prior experience working with terms has the ability to set goals and expectations and hold others accountable; can encourage and mentor others; is approachable, empathetic and outgoing; can quickly gain trust and respect; and is able to establish and maintain relationships.
