    Cash Balance plans currently outnumber traditional DB plans by nearly 2 to 1. Strongpoint is looking to hire Defined Benefit Administrators, Actuarial Analysts, and Enrolled Actuaries with experience in small and mid-size cash balance plan administration. Strongpoint services combo DC/DB plans as well as standalone DB plans. What you'll do:Understand and interpret elements of Defined Benefit / Cash Balance Plan actuarial valuation & be able to communicate issues to in-house actuaries and clients.Prepare and facilitate PBGC filings for covered Defined Benefit Plans.Maintain industry knowledge and share information with client and team members.Keep up to date with changing 401(k) & Defined Benefit Plan legislative requirements.Discuss plan design changes and options with clients.Prepare 401(k) valuations/trust accounting/government reporting on an accrual basis.Perform benefit calculations, valuations, AFTAP and schedule SBs.Required Experience:3-5+ years of small plan DB experience Enrolled Actuary designation to sign documents is preferred. Knowledge of Defined Benefit / Cash Balance actuarial valuation reports & PBGC filing requirements.Knowledge of advanced cross-testing concepts and ability to perform testing to determine the most cost-effective solutions to meet nondiscrimination requirements.

    This is a fully remote position open to candidates across the United States. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Central and Eastern time zones.
    The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000-$150,000+, depending on experience, skill set, and geographic location.

    Position Summary:

    Strongpoint Partners is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven National Account Manager Retirement Plans (RIA and BD Distribution) to develop and manage strategic partnerships with national and regional RIA and Broker-Dealer firms. In this role, you will drive sales growth, expand market share, and increase adoption of Strongpoint's retirement plan solutions across key distribution channels.

    The ideal candidate is a consultative relationship builder with a strong track record in institutional sales and strategic account management within financial services.     Position Overview:
    Strongpoint Partners is seeking two highly motivated Help Desk Technicians to join our IT team. This role provides frontline technical support to end users and plays a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter with excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach to problem-solving.

    PLEASE NOTE: This role is intended to follow a hybrid work model with the expectation of in-office work ~2-4 days per week out of our Riverwoods, IL and/or downtown Chicago offices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.Troubleshoot and support Microsoft Office 365 applications and services.Build, configure, and deploy laptops managed through Microsoft Intune.Diagnose and resolve local network and VPN connectivity issues.Provision and manage user accounts in Office 365, including permissions and security settings.Ensure endpoint security tools and controls are active, compliant, and functioning properly.Maintain accurate hardware and software asset records within the ITSM system.Escalate high-priority or complex incidents to management or higher-level support as needed.Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.Other duties as assigned.

    Position Summary:

    Strongpoint Partners is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Director, TPA Operations, Strategic Partnerships to lead the administration, growth, and strategic development of a defined contribution retirement plan practice within the Strongpoint platform.

    This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing retirement plan operations, managing key client and advisor relationships, supporting partner firms across the Strongpoint network, and building the team, processes, and infrastructure necessary to support long-term growth. The ideal candidate is a seasoned TPA professional with extensive experience managing complex retirement plan portfolios, leading administration teams, and serving as a trusted consultant to plan sponsors, advisors, and industry partners.

    The Director will operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on technical resource, driving operational excellence while contributing to business development initiatives, acquisitions and integrations, talent development, and financial performance. This individual must be comfortable moving between executive-level strategy discussions and detailed plan administration work as business needs require.

    PLEASE NOTE: Our preference is for this role to be based at our Chicago headquarters, either in-person or following a hybrid work model. However, we are open to considering fully remote arrangements for highly qualified candidates.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Plan Administration & Compliance LeadershipProvide oversight for a diverse portfolio of defined contribution retirement plans, including owner-only plans, safe harbor plans, cross-tested plans, ESOPs, and large audited plans.Ensure timely and accurate completion of annual compliance testing, Form 5500 filings, participant disclosures, and all required regulatory reporting.Serve as a technical resource and escalation point for complex compliance, operational, and plan design matters.Support Plan Administrators through annual audits, IRS and Department of Labor examinations, plan     Key Responsibilities:

    Review loan and distribution requests from retirement plan participants to ensure compliance with plan provisions and IRS regulationsProcess retirement plan loans, hardship withdrawals, and other distributionsCommunicate with plan participants, clients, and financial advisors to gather required documentation and provide updatesRespond to a high volume of participant inquiries via email and phoneVerify eligibility for loans and distributions based on plan guidelinesMaintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and audit purposesCoordinate with plan administrators and internal teams to complete transactions efficientlyAssist with preparing required forms and distribution paperworkTrack requests and workflow using internal systems and spreadsheets

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree preferredRecent college graduates encouraged to apply — no prior industry experience requiredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency with basic math and calculationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfort working with computers and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

    Pay Transparency Statement:

    The anticipated pay range for this position is $40,000-$50,000 annually.
