Hiring experienced Purchasing Associate to support growth of Strathmore, a multi-state flooring, cabinet, design and paint company headquartered in Atlanta.
Duties include purchasing materials, managing stock levels, following up on purchase orders and resolving return, claims and billing issues as needed.
The position requires the ability to handle multiple tasks, problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation.
In addition, successful candidates will have:

RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct take-offs which include cost for material and installation labor.Establish and maintain strong relationships with company vendors and clients.Provide consultation, coordination, customer service and assistance to our customers and internal personnel.Maintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, drawings, correspondence, and other project specific information.REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience as an estimator, previous experience in the residential construction industry and flooring strongly preferred.
Must be able to read, interpret, and understand architectural drawings and specifications.Proficient in RFMS Measure program with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookHighly self-motivatedDetail orientedAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
