Commercial Loan Operations Specialist Lead The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist Lead provides operational support for an array of banking commercial products. Under limited supervision, this job works on projects and prospects associated with commercial operations by coordinating data input processes, quality control, client statement preparations and error identification. This job solves escalated reporting issues and consistently works to maintain the accuracy of the company's commercial loan management system. Key Responsibilities and Duties Coordinates processing of commercial banking operations such as loans, letters of credit and banking guarantees. Ensures accuracy, quality and completeness of data inputs from loan applications and related documentation into a commercial loan management system. Supports preparation of statements for clients, along with conducting reconciliation and investigation efforts when needed. Retrieves and provides information on existing loans to clients as requested. Ensures best practices for resolving out-of-balance transactions are followed. Identifies and corrects erroneous transactions and reports major issues to senior colleagues for issue resolution. Trains, delegates and reviews work of junior colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery of services and products. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Commercial Construction and/or Structured Real Estate loan servicing Setup, maintain and track construction loan budget over the life of the loan in accordance with approved terms Experience reviewing disbursement (draw) requests against approved budget and project timelines to ensure compliance and accuracy Proven ability to coordinate and obtain approvals for budget reallocations or modifications Experience obtaining date-down endorsements and ordering third-party inspections to support draw requests Strong knowledge of monitoring and tracking construction-related reserves Ability to accurately abstract, analyze, and interpret complex loan documentation and structures Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with FIS IBS and/or CLS systems Role Specific Work Experience 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred Educational Requirements University (Degree) Preferred Physical Requirements Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 8IC
