    As a Lube & Tire Technician, you will be responsible for performing essential vehicle maintenance services in our Service Department. Your technical skills and commitment to quality service will play a crucial role in retaining customers and supporting the growth of the dealership. This position is an excellent entry point for individuals aspiring to become Automotive Technicians.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Perform lube, oil, and filter changes, as well as tire rotations and installations, ensuring vehicles are serviced according to manufacturer specificationsPerform multi-point inspections on vehicles and diagnosing problemsMaintain high standards of service quality and efficiency, ensuring all work is completed to the highest level of technical competenceFollow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleaguesOngoing requirement to complete any mandatory training provided by the dealership, staying updated on automotive technologies and service techniques to enhance your skills and efficiency in the role

    Qualifications & Job Requirements:

    Some hands on experience performing basic vehicle maintenance is strongly preferred, and experience working in an automotive shop is a plusMust supply your own basic tools (impact gun, wrench set, socket set, torque stick, screwdrivers, big and small filter, oil filter claw, flashlight, air chuck, pen, wire brush)The ideal candidate must be coachable, have strong communication skills, and be able to work well both with a team and independentlyMust be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screenMust have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years of age due to insurance purposesMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
