Primary Function
This position contributes to the company’s success by having a thorough understanding of setting up, operating and maintaining heavy-duty forging presses to shape, form or taper metal components according to precise technical specifications. This role ensures that raw materials are transformed into high-quality parts while meeting production targets and quality standards. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with the press crew in making open die forgings and seamless rolled ringsOperates forklift and manipulator (Heavy Equipment) to move materials through the manufacturing process to shape metal parts according to specifications.Position heated metal pieces (billets) onto the press die using heavy equipmentExcellent attention to detail and quality control.Strong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.Other duties as assignedQualifications

1.0 PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Forged Solutions Group is seeking candidates for our growing Machining Department. This position contributes to the company’s success by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-precision parts. These Individuals will be required to modify existing programs in order to achieve optimal performance in cost, quality, tool life, speeds, feeds, depth of cut, etc. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
2.0 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews shop orders and drawings to determine machining specifications and requirements.Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.Creates part programs which calculates and codes machine controlling criteria.Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments to verify part dimensions.Enters commands to title and store programs in computer memory and building and maintain source files at machine tool control and/or on-line.Responsible for communicating to all department members, program set-up and machining; use of work holding fixtures; building, loading, indicating and touching off tooling, etc.Monitors and changes cutting tools(inserts) as neededPerforms dimensional inspection of product as required.Other job duties as assigned3.0 QUALIFICATIONS:
3.1 Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skillsExcellent working knowledge of CNC machining equipment.Knowledge of multiple types of Computer Numerical Control processes (machining, programming set up and operation)Knowledge of program writing software and ability to upload and download.Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlinesKnowledge of safe operating procedures for machining equipment.3.2 Education and/or Experience
High School graduate or equivalent work experience.Five (5) years of experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer3.3 Physical Requirements
