Job Summary
SteamSOS is seeking a licensed Massachusetts 2nd Class Stationary Engineer / High Pressure Boiler Operator to operate a temporary rental boiler system at a hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operators who take pride in maintaining safe and reliable boiler plant operations in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Safely operate and monitor high-pressure rental boilers.Perform routine rounds, inspections, and equipment readings.Maintain accurate operating logs and records.Monitor boiler water levels, pressure, and overall system performance.Respond to alarms and operational issues as needed.Follow all hospital safety policies and procedures.Maintain a clean and organized boiler room.
Qualifications
Valid Massachusetts 2nd Class Stationary Engineer License (Required).Experience operating high-pressure boilers.Strong understanding of boiler room safety and plant operations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Hospital or healthcare facility experience is a plus.
