Responsibilities:Plan and implement Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) curriculum aligned with state standardsCreate a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environmentAssess and monitor student progress and school readiness skillsIncorporate STEAM-based learning activities into daily lessonsCommunicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student developmentMaintain accurate attendance, documentation, and compliance recordsCollaborate with fellow educators and staff to support whole-child developmentRequirements:Florida VPK Teacher Certification or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferredPrior experience teaching preschool or VPK-age children (ages 4–5)Knowledge of Florida VPK performance standards and early literacy developmentStrong classroom management and communication skillsMust pass Level 2 background screeningWarm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for early childhood educationAbout Us:STEAM ON LEARNING CENTER LLC is a dynamic early childhood learning center in Jacksonville, FL dedicated to inspiring young minds through science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
