Steadfast Business is looking for a Bookkeeper with Construction Experience who is excellent with people, enjoys interaction with professionals and business owners to join our family that is growing tremendously. Since Steadfast Business is a bookkeeping business and you will be responsible for processing the full cycle of accounting: including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, collections and other weekly reports for your assigned clients. If you have exceptional general bookkeeping and good interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude that enjoys a team environment that prides itself on excellent customer service and creative problem solving skills, you may qualify for this position. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Using QuickBooks to processing of payroll, AR/AP and collections activities Job Costing Maintenance of the Chart of Accounts and the General Ledger in QuickBooks Responsible for maintaining cash management systems Assist with preparation of tax information as directed by outside accounting firm Assist with the preparation of annual operating budgets and monthly reports, analysis and revisions; Preparation of other financial reports as indicated by the client; Responsible for office services functions including handling calls, administrative paperwork, etc Other functions as directed by management Experience Desired: Three (3) plus years of extensive bookkeeping experience in a similar environment Highly skilled with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel) Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written An Associates degree in business with an emphasis in Accounting is desired, however, solid experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree Additional Experience that would be a plus: Bi-lingual in Spanish Permitting Knowledge Understanding of Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter) Graphic or Web Design knowledge Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per HOUR
