    About The Role:

    Our Sales Consultants are a major driving factor behind Star Furniture success. As a Sales Consultant, you are responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by understanding the needs of your clients in order to offer the best service while maximizing sales. A successful candidate will be driven to achieve personal success while making positive contributions to the sales team overall.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Greet and engage customers, uncovering their home furnishing needs and helping them make their design vision become a reality.Energy, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the ambition to flourish in a fast-paced sales culture.Achieve and exceed sales goals, including KPIs.Provide world-class customer service and offer customers an unforgettable shopping experience.Build rapport with clients, earning their business through your ability to demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent listening skills.Develop and maintain a customer base through networking, prospecting, scheduling, and client follow up to ensure customer satisfaction before and after the sale.Complete sales contracts accuratelyComply with all company policies and proceduresParticipate in maintaining showroom displaysPerform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management
    Required Qualifications:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, bilingual a plus!Ability to network and build relationships with customers.Competitive, goal-oriented nature with the ability to work well in a team environment.Flexibility to work a 5-day retail schedule that includes weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays for Full Time, either/or for Part Time), and most holidays.Basic computer skills.Previous experience in a commission-based sales environment is a plus but not required.Strong organizational skills.

    About The Role:

    We are seeking Selling Sales Managers (SSM) eager to join our team and build their High-Performing Sales Teams. Ideal candidates will not only have a passion for achieving individual sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) themselves, but also an strong desire to be a coach, mentor, and trainer of their own Team of Sales Consultants and Interior Designers in the Showroom. This role is crucial for driving Star Furniture's sales growth by optimizing our organizational effectiveness and nurturing our talent.

    What You Will Do:

    (30%) Develop a Successful, High-Performing Sales Team within the Store
    Participate in the interview and selection process for Store Sales Consultants and/or Interior Designers.Collaborate with the General Manager to set Annual and Monthly goals and objectives with each Sales Consultant, while monitoring progress against these goals and their established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Conduct weekly 1-on-1 Coaching sessions with each Sales Consultant in the Store, recognizing their success and coaching on their areas for improvement.Conduct on-the-floor observations of Sales Consultants during the Sales Process, offering information assistance, product/service knowledge, and sales techniques which provide results.When necessary, work with the General Manager and Human Resources in developing and delivering Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to change behaviors and improve performance of the Sales Team.
    (60%) Model the Way - Leading by Example - Successful Sales Consultant
    Display excellence in the Sales Process by reserving a position in the PERQ System, taking individual Guests through the "Why Star?" Value proposition and Sales Process, closing sales, and completing follow-up ordering in the AS400 System.Meet and exceed personal Sales KPIs, including monthly and year-to-date (YTD) sales volumes, percentage of Piece-of-Mind protection plan, close rate, etc.Drive sales on all promotional items and products of focus.
    (10%) Operational Management
    Open the Store and perform other General Manager responsibilities, when the General Manager is scheduled off or requires assistance. Work with Guest Services Associates to follow-up on Guest delivery or other Guest issues.Other duties as assigned.
    What You will Bring (Qualifications):
    High School Diploma, GED, or the ability to read, write, and perform mathematics at these levels is required.Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Design or related field is highly desirable.Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience of proven success in a Retail Sales environment, either in a "Big Box" or smaller multi-unit organization.Minimum of 1 to 3 years leading a Sales Team, preferably in commissioned sales.Proven experience being successful in a commission-based compensation structure.Leadership: You possess strong leadership skills, capable of driving Sales initiatives that align with Store and Company goals.Adaptive: You thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrating flexibility and a capability to adjust to changing priorities and conditions.Proactive: You actively identify and address issues before they escalate, constantly seeking ways to improve processes and encourage innovation in our Guest experience.Resilient: You maintain a positive attitude and steady performance, even under pressure.Teamwork / Collaboration: Experienced in working with team members, guests, and external vendors to achieve business goals.Ethical: You uphold the highest standards of integrity and respect, serving as a role model in aligning with the company's values.Communicative: With exceptional communication skills, you convey information effectively across diverse audiences.

    About The Role:

    Our Sales Consultants are a major driving factor behind Star Furniture success. As a Sales Consultant, you are responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by understanding the needs of your clients in order to offer the best service while maximizing sales. A successful candidate will be driven to achieve personal success while making positive contributions to the sales team overall.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Greet and engage customers, uncovering their home furnishing needs and helping them make their design vision become a reality.Energy, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the ambition to flourish in a fast-paced sales culture.Achieve and exceed sales goals, including KPIs.Provide world-class customer service and offer customers an unforgettable shopping experience.Build rapport with clients, earning their business through your ability to demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent listening skills.Develop and maintain a customer base through networking, prospecting, scheduling, and client follow up to ensure customer satisfaction before and after the sale.Complete sales contracts accuratelyComply with all company policies and proceduresParticipate in maintaining showroom displaysPerform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management
    Required Qualifications:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, bilingual a plus!Ability to network and build relationships with customers.Competitive, goal-oriented nature with the ability to work well in a team environment.Flexibility to work a 5-day retail schedule that includes weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays for Full Time, either/or for Part Time), and most holidays.Basic computer skills.Previous experience in a commission-based sales environment is a plus but not required.Strong organizational skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may stand and/or walk up to 6-7 hours in an 8-hour workday.
