    Fence Construction Sales Consultant

    Compensation and Benefits

    Incentive-based compensation, determined by the success of the individual Sales Consultant. Average yearly compensation is $50K to $100K+. Includes Training Pay of $500/week for the first four weeks, then after the first four weeks of employment the role is fully commission-based. Additional monthly bonus opportunities, mobile phone stipend, health coverage stipend, eligibility for company vehicle with fuel.

    About this Role

    The Sales Consultant at Stand Strong Fencing drives new sales of residential and commercial fence construction projects. Each sales team member is expected to:

    Learn and adopt the Stand Strong Fencing structured sales process and complete required trainingDevelop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry knowledge, and process knowledge in relevant product areasExpertly consult with clients and present the features and benefits of Stand Strong Fencing as a business, along with its products and servicesContinually prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and other organic lead generation strategies, and effectively follow-up with prospects to win new businessSet and maintain the required number of sales appointments to meet or exceed sales goals and confirm and qualify booked appointmentsGenerate accurate estimates and professionally and comprehensively present proposals to property owners and their representativesPerform lead generation strategies and activitiesMaintain a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors, and industry trends to identify new business opportunitiesDevelop and present product references and reference documents to customersOrganize, plan, and prioritize sales calls and appointmentsWork with install team leaders to understand, explain, and analyze client requirementsAddress potential client queries in a timely and professional mannerPerform basic record keeping and data entry to ensure proper tracking of sales and client needs/inquiriesInteract with clients and co-workers in a kind and professional mannerPerform other duties as assignedSkills We're Looking ForExcellent Interpersonal and Communication SkillsConstruction or Home Services Sales ExperienceHigh Achievement in Consumer or B2B SalesProject / Job Estimating ExperiencePolished and Professional in DemeanorExceedingly Positive in AttitudeLifelong LearnerActive ListenerTenaciousSkilled Networker and NegotiatorGood Judgment and Decision MakingStrong Work EthicExperience and Other RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAssociate or bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or communications is a plusConsistent record of high sales achievement2+ years sales experience in home services, construction, or a related industry is a plusBasic computer skills and proficiency with the internet and modern software applicationsAbility to work independently and with minimal oversightAbility to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates and supervisorsMust have a valid driver's licensePhysical Requirements

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

    Job Summary:

    Learn and adopt Stand Strong Fence structured sales process and complete required training, present and sell the features and benefits of Stand Strong Fence products, continually prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up and set and maintain the required number of appointments to meet/exceed sales goals. Incentive-based compensation is determined by the success of the individual Sales Consultant. Average compensation is $50k to $100k+ per year.

    Responsibilities:

    Confirm and qualify booked appointments, generate organic leads, provide consultative customer appointments, generate accurate estimates, professionally and comprehensively present proposal to property owner/representative.

    Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry, and process knowledge in relevant product areas.

    Perform organic lead generation strategies and activities.

    Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities.

    Develop product reference documents and product materials for customers.

    Organizing, planning, and prioritizing sales calls and appointments.

    Create and maintain a product marketing plan for increasing sales and revenue.

    Work with install team leaders to understand, explain, and analyze client requirements.

    Demonstrate products to consumers.

    Address potential client queries in a timely and professional manner.

    Perform basic record keeping and data entry to ensure proper tracking of sales and client needs/inquiries.

    Interacts with clients and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.

    Sales Running and overseeing a sales-based organization.

    Experience and Education:

    College degree in related field or relevant experience is preferred.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Home service sales experience is a plus.

    Skilled in verbal and written communications

    Polished and professional in demeanor and possess a strong work ethic.

    Basic computer skills and proficiency with the internet

    Ability to work independently.

    Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates and supervisors.

    Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude

    Must have a valid driver's license.

    Compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
