    Interior Designer

    TYPE: Full-Time

    LOCATION: Seattle, WA


    SN is honored to support GGLO in their search for an Interior Designer to join their firm. This position effectively translates design concepts into coordinated, buildable projects and supports technical execution from schematic design to construction documentation. You will collaborate with project teams and leadership to develop interior design concepts and carry them through design development, construction documentation, and construction phase activities. The role requires coordination of various project aspects including developing drawings, graphic design packages, models, material selections, and documentation that support design intent and project goals. 


    POSITION DETAILS


    Key Responsibilities:

    Include, but are not limited to the following:

    Design & Documentation

    Support the development of interior design concepts and produce coordinated drawings, models, and documentation across all project phases.Prepare design deliverables that align with design intent, project scope, and established standards.

    Project Coordination

    Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, fabricators, product vendors, contractors, and clients to support project delivery and maintain design intent throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate interior design elements to support seamless integration with architectural and engineering systems.

    Technical Development & Detailing

    Assist in the development of interior design details and construction documentation with guidance from project leadership.Implement markups and revisions accurately across interior packages.

    Research & Compliance

    Research finish systems, materials, fixtures, furniture, and product selections to support design decisions.Conduct code, accessibility, and regulatory research to support compliance and inform interior design solutions.

    Client & Construction Support

    Participate in client meetings and presentations.Support construction phase activities under the guidance of project leadership, including site visits, review of submittals, responses to RFIs, and documentation coordination.

    Quality & Team Contribution

    Review models, drawings, and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and coordination; check own work thoroughly.Support team workflows by updating task lists, completing assignments, and contributing to overall project progress.

    Initiative & Growth

    Demonstrate ownership of assigned work.Serve as Interior Designer on small projects with oversight from project leadership.


    Required Skills & Qualifications

    Technical & Design Execution

    Proficiency with design and documentation tools, including Revit, Revizto, Rhino, Enscape, Twinmotion, Bluebeam, Adobe and Affinity platforms, and FF&E specification tools appropriate to project phase.Ability to produce accurate, coordinated design documentation aligned with project goals.Understanding of building systems, materials, finish assemblies, and construction detailing.Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction practices.Understanding of financial considerations related to project scope, schedule, and budget.

    Professional & Project Skills

    Understanding of how design decisions impact scope, schedule, and budget.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Careful attention to detail with consistent documentation and recordkeeping.Sound judgment, adaptability, and problem‑solving capability.

    Collaboration & Contribution

    Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Communicates clearly to support coordination and project alignment. Demonstrates initiative and accountability for assigned work. Contributes to an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative team environment. Maintains professionalism in high‑pressure or ambiguous situations.


    Education & Experience

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.NCIDQ certification, or active progress toward certification, preferred.3-7 years of professional experience in commercial interior design or interior architecture.Experience supporting design, coordination, and documentation across multiple project phases.Experience with hospitality, food and beverage, multifamily, and/or mixed‑use commercial projects preferred.Occasional travel to project sites may be required, including walking active construction sites and navigating varying terrain.

    SN is honored to support GGLO in their search for a skilled and creative Job Captain / Project Architect to join their firm. In this role, you are integral to the successful delivery of GGLO’s projects. This position is responsible for the development and delivery of architectural projects by translating design concepts into coordinated and buildable solutions. Balancing a big-picture perspective with attention to detail, the Job Captain / Project Architect leads the technical execution across project phases. This role is responsible for coordination and documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and alignment with project goals while collaborating with internal and external project teams. 


    POSTION DETAILS


    Key Responsibilities:

    Design & Documentation

    Develop and produce coordinated architectural drawings and construction documents across all project phases.Translate design intent into clear, accurate, and buildable documentation aligned with project goals.

    Project & Team Coordination

    Coordinate architectural work with internal teams, consultants, and clients to maintain alignment and design quality.Lead documentation coordination, task tracking, and project communication for assigned scopes of work.

    Technical Development

    Independently develop architectural details and technical solutions.Apply working knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods to resolve design and documentation challenges.

    Code & Regulatory Compliance

    Apply knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and applicable standards to develop compliant design solutions.

    Client & Construction Phase Support

    Participate in client meetings and presentations.Support construction phase activities, including site visits and coordination, to help ensure execution of design intent.

    Quality Control & Mentorship

    Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with firm standards; check own work and the work of others.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to supporting team members.

    Education & Experience

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Architectural license required for consideration as a Project Architect; unlicensed candidates will be considered at the Job Captain level.5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and documentation.Experience leading design coordination and documentation across multiple project phases.Experience with commercial, multi‑family, or mixed‑use projects preferred.
