    We’re looking for an Applications Engineering Manager to lead and grow our Events-side team while collaborating closely with our StageRight Performance engineering group.

    Required:

    Summary:

    Inspect incoming material for quality specification and quantities. Receives and issues raw material to and from saws, trucks and storage area by operation of an overhead crane. Primary focus would be working on the robotic welder and fabrication of products utilizing other CNC machines. This would include programming, machine setup, operation and adjustment of process variables to meet quality demands.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.

    Lifts work piece manually or using hoist and secures work piece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device.Calculates and sets controls to regulate machine factors, such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, type of gas, and type of weld rod.Starts machine, engages feed, and observes operation.Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.Unload welded parts from robotic welder and place on appropriate containers.Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers.Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.Maintains accurate counts of parts; attaches labels or tags to finished part containers identifying customer, part number, quantity and shop order information.Maintains company quality, efficiency, and productivity standards.Reads job specifications (e.g. blueprints) to determine type of welding and material requirements.Examines finished work pieces to verify conformance with specifications according to operator inspection sheet, quality control plans and/or customer notes using instruments such as gauges.Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Crew Leader.Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment and follows safety regulations.Additional duties may be assigned as required.

    Summary:

    Responsible for all aspects of Machine Operation; including set-up and operation of manual and CNC machines, including mills, lathes, presses etc.

Cross checking that revision, part number, and description is correct.Before loading material into the machine, verify correct amount, size, gauge, and length of material has been loaded into the machine and issued to the work order. Utilizing calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to verify accuracy.Check quality of first part for appearance and that the part meets print specifications. Assures that the fit, function and appearance of products are at, or exceed quality standards. Fulfills production requirements.Place finished parts in proper container/rack and designated location.Records on work order all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.Performs daily shift maintenance inspection per the preventative maintenance (PM) checklist.Confers with the Team Leader or Crew Leader on any problems regarding safety, quality, production, inventory issues, etc.Confers with Engineering Programmer to maximize potential efficiency and quality gains in manufacturing process.Maintain high quality standards as regards to machine and work area. Removal of all metal scrap, debris and residue form machine as needed.

    Summary:

    This position requires the skills and ability to complete the painting and basic assembly of the variety of products manufactured by Rogers Group. They will be responsible for applying mills of paint to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces as well as complete basic assembly of products.

    Helps maintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident-free and healthy work environment.Read work orders or blueprints and receives direction from Team Leader/Crew Leader on the sequence of painting of product. Prepare surfaces for paint by removing rust, BB’s, or any other surface imperfections.Places product on the paint line with proper hooks, eyelets and correct spacing to enhance the electrostatic process and assure the safe and proper travel of the product. Remove painted metal parts from overhead system and properly package to prevent chips.Examine finished surfaces to verify conformance to specifications, retouch if necessary.Weekly department maintenance including but not limited to vacuuming and wiping down equipment and work area.Assist in color changes under the direction of the Team Leader/Crew Leader. Assembly of basic/simple products: Z-legs, logos, sticker placement requirements, etc. Assist with assembly of more complex products under the direction of a Sr. Assembler. Record all labor and downtime pertaining to each work order and routing when assigned to the Assembly area. Confers with the Team Leader/Crew Leader on any problems regarding safety, quality, production, or inventory issues. Additional duties may be assigned on an as required basis.

    Summary:

    The Material Handler provides support to the production associates by receiving, dispensing, and accurately maintaining inventory in the vertical storage units and on the shop floor.

    Summary:

    In this role, the welder will be expected to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate techniques and using various welding devices. The ideal candidate will bring technical know-how and an innovative mindset to the role and help drive our industry.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.

    Positions parts according to the work orders, routings, prints, and knowledge of the unit.Regulates machine for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow.Joins together two pieces of steel or aluminum by heating to a temperature high enough to cause proper fusion.Assures that the fit, function and cosmetics are at or exceeds Rogers/StageRight quality expectations.Removes BB’s and any other weld imperfections from surface of products.Records all labor, downtime, scrap, rework, and documents all information pertaining to each work order and routing sheet.Implements and completes all welding and related tasks assigned by team leaders and crew leaders.Maintains all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident free, and healthy work environment.Confers with team leaders and crew leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production, inventory, or customer service issues.Attend training for welding, fabrication, and safety.Additional duties may be assigned as required.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    High School diploma or equivalent.At least one (1) year welding experience.Blueprint and welding symbol knowledge preferred.Must possess basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language. Associates must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with the variety of situations which occur in the daily fabrication process.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Frequent manual and finger dexterity required by the daily use of hand tools.Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, or kneel.Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.

    The environment is active and fast-paced. Expect a mix of physical activity and hand tool use.

    Summary:

    This role is responsible for the wiring and specific assembly of telescopic seating systems, as well as traveling to various event arena projects for site visits to assist in assessing project scopes and requirements.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Wiring and assembly of telescopic seating systems according to engineering specifications and safety standards.Conducting on-site inspections and assessments of event arena projects to determine seating system requirements and feasibility.Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop seating system designs and solutions that meet project objectives.Providing technical expertise and support during the installation, testing, and commissioning of telescopic seating systems.Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to seating system wiring, assembly, and functionality.Documenting project progress, including wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and inspection reports.Adhering to project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.Traveling to project sites as needed, which may involve overnight stays and occasional weekend work.


    Qualifications and Skills:

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics or a related field. Understanding of basic engineering design (i.e. Mechanics of materials, Statics, etc.) is required for this position.


    LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, owners, customers and the general public.


    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


    REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


    COMPUTER SKILLS: Working knowledge of computer keyboard for reporting activities, Microsoft Office Suite, and internet for communication.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Agility of the upper and lower body extremities and be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and color vision. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.


    TRAVEL REQUIRMENTS: This will be based out of Clare, Michigan and may require up to 25% of your time to be spent out of office traveling but may require some overnight travel.
