    Up to $48/hour based on experience (Residential/Detox Preferred)

    PineTree Recovery Center, part of the Guardian Recovery network, is a trusted leader in substance use disorder treatment in the Portland, Maine area. We’ve built a truly unique and highly effective recovery experience, crafted by top addiction treatment professionals and inspired by invaluable feedback from our clients.

    We are looking for an evening shift Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. These staff members are critical components of our patients early recovery and an instrumental part of the positive life changing decisions a person with substance use disorder must make as they enter the world drug/alcohol free.

    This RN/LPN position will be specifically supporting our clients in residential program level of care during evening hours (3pm to 11pm).

    Qualification Requirements:

    License as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) valid in the State of Maine.Recent RN nursing program graduates are encouraged to apply, in addition to candidates with extensive nursing experience.Prior experience in substance abuse recovery at residential or detox level of care is preferred, but not at all required.

    Responsibilities:

    Patient (client) monitoring, including regular vital checks and closely documenting conditions.Perform comprehensive assessment of clients at the admission stage to build the best care plan possible.Administer medications, including infections and oral supplements.Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support for clients going through withdrawal from substances and/or alcohol.Partner alongside clinical team members, including therapists and other mental health professionals, and be mindful of clients psychological state.Communicate with clients' family/friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.Adhere to confidentiality best practices and ensure client privacy.Follow care regulations and standards set by law.

    Pay:
    Ranging from $36/hour to $48/hour based on qualifications, including years of experience in detox, level of license (RN vs. LPN), level of education, etc.

    Schedule:
    Three 12-hour shifts per week for full-time status. Day shift is from 7am to 7pm. Rotating weekend coverage is needed. Part-time and per diem options are also available.

    Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and goals.Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the client and clinical team.Facilitate access to community resources, including housing, employment, and aftercare programs.Provide ongoing case management support, including crisis intervention and advocacy.Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care.Coordinate discharge planning to support sustained recovery.Educate clients and families on treatment processes, recovery strategies, and available supports.Job Type: Full Time
