    Wanted: Emergency Medicine Maverick

Master Chaos. Command the Room. Clock Out to the Coastline.
Corpus Christi, TX Full-Time Day Shifts Rotating Weekends

You Didn't Go Into Emergency Medicine to Be Managed.

You didn't train for this just to be sidelined.
You didn't grind through years of boards and midnight trauma calls just to be someone's backup plan in a low-volume urgent care.

    You want the room.
    You want the pressure.
You want to make decisions when it counts - because that's when you come alive.

We're looking for Emergency Medicine professionals who know how to stay calm when others freeze.
    Clinicians who don't flinch.
Physicians who don't just "cover" a shift - they command it.

This isn't another revolving-door locums gig.
This is your chance to plant roots, lead confidently, and practice pure Emergency Medicine - in multiple freestanding and hospital-based ERs built for autonomy, speed, and excellence.

    The Opportunity

We're hiring across multiple emergency settings affiliated with a highly regarded, top-performing health system in the Corpus Christi region - including:

High-volume freestanding ERs with hospital-level acuity and zero red tape

A full-service acute care hospital ED equipped with a cardiac cath lab, neuro suite, and the region's most advanced trauma-ready infrastructure

Systems and teams recognized among the Top 5% of hospitals in the U.S. for Patient Safety Excellence (Healthgrades)

No matter where you plug in - you're not background noise.
You're the tip of the spear.

You Might Say This Is For

The doc who can intubate in chaos and hit an ultrasound window like it's second nature

The one who leads a code with zero hesitation and zero ego

The EM physician who still has fire in their chest - and doesn't apologize for it

The one thinking, "Alright but what's the real angle?"

    Here it is:

    No micromanagement

    No sluggish processes

    No "check-the-box" medicine

Just real emergency care, sharp clinical teams, and leadership that lets you do what you're trained to do.

    Who We're Looking For

ABEM or AOBEM board-certified/eligible EM docs

Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with EM fellowship or robust, verifiable emergency experience

Competent in intubation and point-of-care ultrasound

Calm under fire, clinically decisive, and damn good with a team

    What's In It For You

    Let's be direct:

Your choice: W-2 or 1099 - build the structure that works for you

Sign-on bonus that actually turns heads

Top-shelf comp plus a productivity model with teeth

Full benefits if you want them - medical, dental, vision, 401k match

Real work-life balance: No state income tax, coastal living, and off-shift peace

    Your New Backyard

Corpus Christi and Rockport aren't just places on a map - they're local legends for those who know.

    White sand beaches

Deep sea fishing before your 2pm shift

    Kite-surfing capital of the U.S.

Art, festivals, seafood, and sunsets that will make you pause

And a cost of living that doesn't insult your paycheck

    Here's the Deal

    We're not filling seats.
    We're building a crew.

A crew of sharp, fast, ego-free EM physicians who don't chase jobs - because the right opportunities find them.

If you're reading this thinking, "This sounds like me, but I'm cautious "
    Good.

Let's talk - one call, no pressure. If it's not a fit, you'll still leave with clarity. If it is? You'll be leading a room instead of covering one.

You don't need a resume. You need a conversation.
Let's set one up. Confidential. Straightforward. Your call.

Because the best emergency physicians don't wait to be chosen.
    They choose where they belong.
