Job Responsibilities Builds working relationships with key faculty across the department and external stakeholders to facilitate initiatives effectively and efficiently. Prioritize tasks and engagements aligned with the Sr. Assoc Dean/Chair’s mission-driven agenda and strategic priorities. Works closely with the leadership team in preparation and coordination of various reports and presentations for the Chair, including power point, memos, agendas and slides in advance for meetings. Manage all aspects of the Sr. Assoc Dean /Chair schedule, including complex calendar coordination, travel arrangements, expense processing, and meeting logistics. Support the Data Coordinating Center’s projects and logistics. Defines scope, goals, and deliverables in support of business needs, and works with the department leadership team for approval. Monitors and manages execution phase to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet all PHS business requirements. Develop and manage systems for stakeholder communications and key contacts. Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the long-term success and evolution of the department and institutional mission. Education Bachelor's Degree Master’s degree highly desired Experience Approximately 3-7 years of relevant experience. Experience with project management software. The Echocardiographer is responsible for preliminary echocardiographic measurements, summarizing diagnostic data and communicating information to manager or requesting physician. Performs a variety of technical duties in non-traumatic, non-invasive examinations using phono-apexcardiograms, imaging duplex and ultrasound equipment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: Performs a variety of technical duties required in non-traumatic, non-invasive examinations using phono-apexcardiograms, imaging duplex and ultrasound equipment. Positions patients and operates equipment to produce the most reliable and informative data. Explains procedures to patients. Evaluates as recording occurs and performs complete analysis. Interprets exams and chart graphics as needed and processes hard copy results. Assists with managing the daily work-flow by performing portable exams. JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Work requires knowledge of Cardiology, Medical Terminology, basic Physics, Biology and Anatomy in order to perform tests and interpret raw data. Such knowledge is generally acquired through the completion of a two-year program in a related field of study (e.g., a cardiosonography technical training program). CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED : Certification or eligibility for registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in echocardiography is strongly preferred. EXPERIENCE: Prefer at least one year of experience in echocardiography (not including as an intern) in a hospital facility. 5+ years’ experience working in a Stress lab as well as with Amyloid patients KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Work requires good knowledge of congenital heart disease. Work requires knowledge of general cardiograph and hospital procedures, sonography equipment as well as proficiency in performing technical work. Work requires the analytical ability to solve problems of limited technical complexity. Ability to follow standardized methods, guides and procedures in the resolution of such problems.
