Primary Objective of Position
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for administration and supervision of the maintenance needs of all Metro Bus vehicles, equipment, facilities and grounds. The Maintenance Supervisor provides direct supervision and management of the Mechanics, Fuelers and Facility & Bus Cleaners.

Assist with administration and oversight of maintenance needs of all Metro Bus property and equipment. Responsible for compliance with Metro Bus’s comprehensive preventative maintenance inspection and repair program for:Metro Bus fleet (revenue and non-revenue vehicles)Oversee preventative maintenance and mechanical repairsMonitor preventative maintenance intervals, checklists, replacement parts and fluidsEnsure proper completion of maintenance records and forms and all maintenance activities are accurately documentedPerform road calls and/or switch out buses when equipment fails. Trouble shoot, fix and repair buses roadsideResponsible for ensuring efficient and effective maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of all Metro Bus fleetMetro Bus support equipment, diesel and CNG fueling and monitoring stationsOversee preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs.Monitor preventative maintenance intervals, checklists, replacement parts and fluidsEnsure proper completion of maintenance records and forms and all maintenance activities are accurately documented.Responsible for oversight of the fueling of CNG and Diesel buses using the tricorder per standard operating proceduresAll Metro Bus facilities and grounds.Oversee preventative maintenance and repairsMonitor preventative maintenance intervals, checklists, replacement parts and fluidsEnsure proper completion of maintenance records and forms and all maintenance activities are accurately documentedResponsible for ensuring efficient and effective maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of all Metro Bus facilities and grounds, bus shelters and stops including but not limited to snow removal and storage and parking lot and ground maintenanceManage inventory of parts, supplies, tires, equipment, fleet, fuel and fluids using a Just in Time Inventory management philosophy.
