Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree or higher in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a closely related field ORan equivalent combination of education and significant industry experience.Five (5) or more years of recent industry experience in machining and/or manufacturing.Demonstrated knowledge of:CNC machining (mills and lathes)Manual machining processesCAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion, SolidWorks)Precision measurement and basic metrologyAbility to teach and support credit‑based manufacturing instruction.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related field.Prior teaching, training, or instructional coordination experience in a higher education or technical training environment.Industry certifications such as NIMS, SME, MSSC, or OEM certifications.Experience or knowledge in logistics, supply chain operations, warehousing, inventory control, or manufacturing‑related logistics systems (program coordination and oversight only).Relevant industry experience may be substituted for formal educational requirements. Candidates with extensive hands‑on machining or manufacturing experience who demonstrate instructional capability are strongly encouraged to apply.

About the Role
The EXCELerator is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Office Assistant to provide evening support for our student success center. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors. If you enjoy helping others, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we'd love to have you on our team.
This is a part-time 16 hours per week schedule: Monday–Thursday, from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
Welcome students, staff, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member.Schedule academic and career coaching appointments.Maintain accurate records, assist with data entry, and generate reports as needed.Manage office supplies and help keep the front desk area organized.Prepare spaces for classroom visits and guide visitors to their destinations.Provide administrative support for staff and assist with event coordination.Qualifications
