    The Residential Service Electrician is a licensed field technician responsible for diagnosing, installing, repairing, and maintaining residential electrical systems throughout the DMV service area. This role serves as the primary customer-facing representative on service calls, ensuring safe, code-compliant work, exceptional customer service, and mentorship of assigned apprentices.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Technical & Field Responsibilities

    Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues; identify root causes and recommend solutions.Identify and correct safety hazards and code violations in compliance with NEC and local regulations.Install, repair, and replace electrical systems, panels, wiring, breakers, outlets, fixtures, and related components.Measure, cut, and bend conduit as needed.Procure and manage materials required for assigned work.Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.

    Customer & Documentation Responsibilities

    Present pricing and recommendations professionally before work begins.Clearly explain technical findings and solutions to customers.Complete service documentation, estimates, and records accurately and on time.Identify additional service opportunities that improve safety or system performance.Represent the company professionally on every service call.

    Team & Operational Responsibilities

    Maintain communication with dispatch, office staff, customers, and team members.Mentor and train apprentice electricians on technical skills and safe work practices.Follow company policies, OSHA standards, and safety procedures.Support a positive, team-oriented work environment.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required

    Valid Maryland Journeyperson Electrician License (or reciprocal equivalent) with 3+ years of field experience.High school diploma or GED.Strong knowledge of NEC and Maryland residential electrical codes.Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.Valid driver's license with clean driving record.Ability to pass background and drug screening.Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical job duties.Willingness to travel throughout the DMV area.

    Preferred

    OSHA 10/30 certification.CPR/First Aid certification.Experience with Service Fusion or similar software.Commercial electrical experience or willingness to expand into commercial work.

This position requires 100% travel, primarily throughout the Southeast and extending as far as West Texas.
    Recent college grads are encouraged to applySalary starts at $75,000, please let us know what you desire, since salary is negotiable depending on experienceAnnual bonus of 10%, possible 10% kicker on top of the first 10%Per-diem is availableCompany Truck & Fuel cardComprehensive employee benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision insurance 401k match, PTO, and more!Responsibilities for Project Engineer:Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates.Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.Requirements for Project Engineer:Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related discipline requiredSpanish-speaking a plusProficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software, Primavera (P6) or Microsoft ProjectSkills preferred:Requirements analysisDesign skillsProject managementConstruction means and methodsProcess improvementTechnical understandingDocumentation skillsSafety managementSupervisionCAD, CAD/CAM circuit designIf you are interested in learning more about this role, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!
