    The Lead Structured Cabling Installer will perform the installation of copper and fiber optic cabling systems on commercial, government, and industrial projects. This hands-on leadership role requires strong technical expertise, crew supervision experience, client interaction skills, and the ability to assist with project estimating and quoting.

    Key Responsibilities
    Field Leadership & Installation

    Lead structured cabling crews, ensuring work complies with BICSI, TIA/EIA, and NEC standards. Install, terminate, test, and certify Cat6, Cat6A, Cat8, and fiber optic cabling systems. Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and construction drawings. Perform OTDR, Fluke/DSX, and fiber certification testing. Install cable pathways, racks, trays, conduit, J-hooks, patch panels, and fiber enclosures. Train and mentor technicians while maintaining a safe and productive job site. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades. Maintain project documentation, labeling, as-builts, and material inventories. Identify and communicate field issues, scope changes, and project risks. Client & Project SupportServe as a primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders. Conduct site surveys and provide project updates and technical guidance. Support project estimating by evaluating labor, materials, and project scope. Assist with developing and reviewing quotes to ensure accuracy and profitability.
