People Leader HR Manager
Location: JFK Airport On-Site
Compensation: $78,000 - $90,000 + bonus
Schedule: Full-Time Exempt

We're looking for a People Leader HR Manager to support our airport restaurant operations at JFK Airport. This role is ideal for someone who brings union experience, understands New York wage and hour requirements, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric environment.

What You'll Do
Act as a hands-on HR partner to field leadership and airport operationsSupport employee relations, performance conversations, and leader coachingWork within a unionized environment, partnering thoughtfully on labor-related mattersGuide compliance with New York wage & hour laws and employment practicesCollaborate with Regional and Corporate People teams on initiatives and programsSupport recruiting, onboarding, and engagement efforts that strengthen the team
What You Bring
Minimum 1 year experience working in a union environment requiredStrong understanding of New York wage and hour lawsMinimum 5 years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Manager experienceA practical, people-first approach with sound judgment and discretionComfort supporting fast-moving operations (hospitality, retail, food service, or similar)Ability and willingness to work on-site in a highly interactive environment
