SLUCare Radiology is actively seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a PRN/Fill-In opportunity. A competitive hourly rate will be offered along with malpractice insurance coverage, but no other benefits.
Preferred qualifications:
Interventional Radiology experience preferredSurgical NP or PA with vascular surgery, wound care or hospitalist/ICU backgroundMaster's Degree from a nationally accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant programRegistered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure or certified physician assistant in the State of Missouri, or ability to obtainStrong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive patient-provider relationshipsCommitment to staying current with advancements in healthcare and continuously improving clinical skillsCore responsibilities:
Provide outpatient clinic coverage 2 days per week with opportunity to work 1-2 days inpatient per week. Outpatient responsibilities include seeing patients with attending oversight, conducting pre- and post-procedure evaluations, and following up with patients regarding care decisions.Inpatient responsibilities include including procedural including venous access, PICC lines, mid lines, arterial lines (vascular access) and ports. The APP will collaborate closely with physicians to ensure continuity of care and deliver high-quality patient experiences in an outpatient settingLearn more about our department here.
