ABOUT THE ROLE
S&S Activewear, the leading nationwide distribution company in the apparel and fashion industry is seeking a highly skilled Sr Software Engineer to join our growing Software Engineering Team to help build and evolve our highly transactional eCommerce platforms and core business systems.
In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance scalable, high-performance applications and APIs using C# and modern .NET technologies. You’ll play a critical part in powering our ordering systems, integrations, and customer-facing solutions, working across a modern UI stack and collaborating closely with product, UX, and business stakeholders.
You’ll contribute to business-critical initiatives with real customer impact, while innovating on a fully in-house developed web platform and ERP system. Our teams operate in a fully agile, product-driven environment that encourages ownership, technical influence, architectural improvement, and the delivery of high-quality solutions at scale.

Salary Range: $117,000.00 - $133,000.00 annually, plus STI

WHAT YOU WILL DO
20% maintenance and 80% new developmentDesign, build, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, and Razor/Blazor.Develop and optimize RESTful APIs to support integrations with e-commerce platforms, customer systems, and internal applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.Proactively test and optimize applications to eliminate defects, improve performance, and ensure a smooth user experience. Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and peer reviews.Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and other techniques.Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing applications to ensure reliability and performance.Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET (Core or later).Hands-on experience with UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Blazor, or other similar technologies).Strong hands‑on experience with modern JavaScript and CSS, including building responsive, maintainable user interfaces and optimizing client‑side performance.Experience using responsive design patterns across multiple devices.Strong experience in API design and development (REST, JSON, etc.).Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.Solid understanding of microservice architecture and cloud deployments (Azure or AWS preferred).Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.Physical Demands

The Order Puller is responsible for pulling and packing orders correctly while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$12.36 hourly
Monday-Friday (7am - 11am), Full-Time, Non-Exempt
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Picks customer ordersChecks packing list for accuracy and inspects items.Drives an electric cart to pick orders.Meets or exceeds productivity and accuracy standards.Inspect products for defects or damages.Maintains a safe and clean warehouse.Follows all safety rules.Acts professionally and remains focused.Performs other duties as assigned.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must be 18 years of age.High school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to read and speak English. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to follow detailed instructions.Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.Must be comfortable using electronic devices.Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.Must be flexible with start and departure time changing. In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
