Key responsibilities include mounting and installing racks, patch panels, fiber optics, and related hardware; terminating simplex and duplex jumper cords; and installing various fiber connectors (LC, SC, ST, FC, FDDI, SMA, MPO/MTP) for both single-mode and multi-mode fiber. The role also involves grounding equipment, managing tickets, maintaining network device inventory, and ensuring high-quality fiber connections. Candidates must be capable of working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces, with the ability to distinguish colors, read small prints, and recognize audible signals. A flexible schedule with rotational shifts is required.
