    Position – Certified Teacher

    Part-Time: 23-30 hrs per week between the hours of 8:30am-5pm during the school year and 9am-3pm during June-August.

    Pay Range - $18 - $20 Depending on experience and qualifications.

    What We Ask of You:

    A love for children and a passion to teach.Able to build relationships with parents and work as part of a team.Ability to multitask and manage situations effectively.Must meet State specific guidelines for the role.Hold EEC Teacher Certification.Lift a minimum of 40lbs.Have basic computer proficiency.Able to work indoors and outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.Once a week, supervise children in our beach-entry pool. (Water depth max 3ft)Flexible, punctual, and committed to working.

    Your Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)

    Work with the class Lead Teacher to plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth.Conduct observations and complete twice yearly progress reports jointly with the class Lead Teacher.Foster strong, collaborative relationships with preschool families and serve as a primary point of contact through regular communication via the school app or email.Assume responsibility for leading the classroom and maintaining established routines and expectations in the absence of the Lead Teacher.Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.Supervise teacher assistants to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards.Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.Attend monthly Staff Meetings and twice-yearly paid group professional development.
