    We’re hiring for a Level 2 Electro-Mechanical Inspector Level 2 position in Southern California. This is an opportunity in which you will be supporting the first shift. This is a full-time position. If you have a passion for mechanical products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

    Key Responsibilities:

    Incoming inspection from external providers of products or services/processing (e.g, nickel plating)In-process and/or final inspection of critical features, including witness inspection (e.g., CMM program run)Compilation of final inspection sign-off sheet or inspection packageVerification that the inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects.Verification that the inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent.Review and validation of justification for any part not inspected at final inspection.Audit and validation of execution of the inspection plan, if applicableAssure products are free of gaps, mismatches, fairing, and of acceptable contour and waviness.Assure products are of good workmanship and within specified workmanship standards (e.g., oil canning, riding conditions, loose fasteners, drill starts, scratches, dings, burrs, fastener edge distance, etc.)Verify all visible part finishes, paint, and skin quality are acceptable to the required visual standards.Verify hardware cleanliness and absence of internal or external foreign object debris.Verify safety wire has been applied in a negative pull orientation, the correct number of turns, and pigtails are tucked in according to specification requirements.Verify fasteners are properly installed; assure the torque stripe is continuous from the head to the surface and of the correct color

    Skills and Qualifications:

    3+ years of hands-on experience with electro-mechanical parts inspection.Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and industry/commodity standards.Proficient in GD&T and validating dimensions (tolerances ≥.005”) using hand tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges).Ability to adapt to new technology and software.Excellent visual acuity to detect defects in complex products.Must be willing to undergo a background check.Must be ITAR compliant.

     

    50% hourly rate for any travel time ("p2p")

    Mileage reimbursement at the US gov't rate ($0.70 per mile driven). Untaxed.

    We’re hiring for a Quality Mechanical Source Inspector position in Hartford, CT. The schedule is for the first shift, Full-time. If you have a passion for mechanical products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

     

    Travel to Milford, CT and Suffield, CT will include mileage reimbursement as well as portal-to-portal (P2P) compensation.

    Must be willing to travel to California for 1-week training (Travel accommodations). 


    Responsibilities:

    Perform precision inspection verifications on mechanical parts, components, assemblies, and materialsInspection may include, but is not limited to, purchased parts, in-process and final assemblies, and materials for workmanship and conformance to specifications/drawingsPerform surface plate inspection of the first article, in-process, and lot sample parts if requiredUtilize inspection equipment such as micrometers, gauge blocks, dial indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, profilometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) if necessaryVisual acuity and the ability to detect defects in highly complex productsVerify documentation packages to industry/commodity-specific standardsClassify defect types and verify rework conducted during the time of the inspection


    Skills and Qualifications:

    3+ years of hands-on experience with precision mechanical parts inspection.Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with customer and industry requirements, including AS9102 standards when applicable.Review and verify Purchase Orders (POs), engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements to ensure compliance.Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and industry/commodity standards.Proficient in GD&T and validating dimensions (tolerances ≥.005”) using hand tools (e.g., indicators, micrometers, calipers, height gauges).Experience with certificates of conformance and inspection documentation.Ability to adapt to new technology and software.Excellent visual acuity to detect defects in complex products.Must be ITAR compliant Must be willing to undergo a background check
