In this role, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to our residents during weekend shifts. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain smooth operations, uphold regulatory compliance, and support resident well-being.
Responsibilities Manage and supervise nursing staff on weekends to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.Coordinate resident care activities and ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and support staff.Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and provide guidance and support as needed.Handle resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.Ensure accurate documentation of resident care and maintain medical records.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and operational efficiency. Requirements Weekend position* (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.Proven experience in a nursing management role, preferably in long-term care or similar healthcare settings.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently during weekend shifts and make critical decisions.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care.CPR certification and current Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
