  SPORTIME owns and operates 17 tennis, pickleball, sports, camp and fitness clubs across NYS, including sites across Long Island, in Westchester, Manhattan and the Capital Region and New Jersey. Several of these locations currently feature both dedicated and/or "blended" pickleball courts, and offer court-time, instruction and related programs. SPORTIME is in the active process of creating and scaling its new pickleball division, the purpose of which is to own or lease, and operate, dedicated indoor and outdoor pickleball sites in our current markets and in others nearby. JOB SUMMARY: To oversee front desk and assist members and prospects on the phone and in person and to greet members and ensure that they receive a 5 Star member experience while at the club. RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish and maintain 5 star rapports with all members and guests entering and exiting the club as well as via phone and any other contact. Competency in all functions of APTUS including Scheduler, POS, shift reconciliations, member statements and notes, Member check-in, etc. Telephone message competence: recording clear, correct messages and discerning importance (timeliness) of calls. Familiar with Broadview phone system including voicemail Responsible to make absolutely certain that closing procedures are followed each night Towel supply laundered, dried, replenished and monitored. Maintain neat and well-stocked work area for efficient desk operation and customer service Assist with courtesy calls and balance due Answers incoming telephone calls and transfer them to the appropriate party Schedule court reservations, private lessons Develop and maintain cooperative work relationships with others Complete daily reports and any special projects as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High school Diploma or equivalent Demonstrated knowledge of SPORTIME programs, services, policies and procedures Ability to explain all lessons, programs, memberships and promotions to prospective and existing members Excellent guest service skills Solid computer skills (Microsoft applications) a MUST Ability to listen to and understand information Ability to communicate verbally and in writing so that others will understand Ability to work under pressure Ability to multi-task Ability to keep information confidential Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. COMPENSATION: $17.00 per hour SCHEDULE : Seasonal with weeknight and weekend availability.   JOB SUMMARY: To spend the day in charge of a specific sport or activity; creating, planning for, and executing the lesson plan. Coaches are responsible for having activities prepared and tailored to each group that attends his or her station throughout the camp day.
  
  Multi-Sport Coach Responsibilities:Submit detailed lesson plans to camp director in ample time for them to review itResponsible for preparing objectives, time frames, materials needed and specific activities to be included each day at designated stationsBe able to delegate tasks to camp counselor staff while prepping and/or cleaning up stationsMake sure that all campers are leaving stations in a safe and timely manner
  General Responsibilities of Summer Camp Staff:Attendance and timeliness is essentialBe aware of any specific needs of children in the group, physical or emotionalCommunicate with other camp staff and work as part of a teamEnsure that the facility is kept clean and tidyAbide by all SPORTIME policies and proceduresPresent a neat and well-groomed appearance at all times, and wear SPORTIME attire as required
  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to maintain discipline and order with a group of childrenAbility to communicate information verbally and in writing so that others will understandAbility to lift and carry up to 35 pounds or moreAbility to perform physical activities that require considerable use of whole bodyAbility to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong

  JOB SUMMARY: The Pickleball Coach must be able to professionally monitor their own schedule; instruct a variety of lesson types; promote the company; and up-sell members on programming.

  Job Responsibilities:

  ∙ Perform group and private lessons, for both adults and juniors, and for all levels.

  ∙ Maintain strong professional relationships with members and prospects.

  ∙ Organize and maintain a neat working environment on and off court.

  ∙ Communicate with Pickleball Director and fellow Pickleball Coaches.

  ∙ Deliver best-in-class customer service.

  ∙ Communicate with clientele to up-sell programming and give feedback on performance.

  ∙ Ensure that the facility is kept clean and tidy.

  ∙ Abide by all SPORTIME policies and procedures.

  ∙ Present a neat and well groomed appearance at all times, and wear SPORTIME attire as required.

  ∙ Be on court prepared to teach and begin all lessons at scheduled starting time.

  ∙ Ensure that your schedule is correct on a daily and weekly basis and that you have the necessary resources (courts, training aids, etc) to teach your lesson.
  
  Skills Required:

  ∙ Be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own.

  ∙ Experience working on court in private and group scenarios.

  ∙ Have excellent oral communication skills.

  ∙ Have sales skills to promote programs.

  ∙ Ability to speak intelligently to players about programs and membership.

  ∙ Ability to teach technical and tactical skills.

  ∙ Ability to play at a high level and play with students / other players if/when necessary.
  
  COMPENSATION: $40.00 per hour
  
  SCHEDULE:  Part-time. Weekend availability is a plus.
