    Years of Experience: Must have at least 3-5 years of experience providing digital forensics and/or cyber support to investigations, preferably counterintelligence investigations.
    Description: The Cyber Crime Investigator (CCI) serves as a technical subject matter expert supporting the agencies counterintelligence program. The CCI will leverage traditional and cyber experience while conducting sensitive national security investigations to ensure the conduct of a fair, unbiased, and professional investigation.
    Responsibilities: Shall support counterintelligence (CI) and counterterrorism (CT) investigations research, design, deploy, and lead training events
    Shall evaluate emerging forensic technologies
    Shall provide operational security assessments
    Shall support cyber forensic and cyber security tasks
    Shall be responsible for all phases of the forensic examination of digital media, including on-site and off-site evidence acquisition/seizures, forensic analysis, and reporting, while maintaining chain of custody and following rules of evidence
    Shall provide support for incident response activities, intrusion events, and malware analysis
    Required Qualifications: Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a CI polygraph after hire
    Must have at least 3-5 years of experience supporting national security investigations to include the conduct of Digital Forensic Examinations ISO of such investigations.
    Must be capable of operating within a diverse environment and comfortable operating with limited guidance and oversight, maturity and self-motivation required.
    Must possess recognized digital forensic analysis/cyber security certifications and experience.
    Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in a related discipline
    Completion of Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA) courses to include, Forensic Intrusion in a Windows Environment (FIWE), Windows Forensic Examiner (WFE), Computer Incident Responders Course (CIRC).
    Familiarity with digital forensic tools such as EnCase, AccessData FTK, Autopsy/Sleuth Kit, SIFT, Magnet Forensics, or others.
    Advanced certifications in digital forensics to include GCFA, GCFE, FTK/EnCase Certified Examiner, or equivalent training.
    Graduate of Counterintelligence Special Agent credentialing course such as CISAC, DCAC, or other service component school.

    The Cyber Counterintelligence (CI) Desk Officer aides the Army Counterintelligence (ACI) Command through monitoring, analyzing, and supporting CI investigations Army wide. The Cyber CI Desk Officer will identify cyber equities in ACI investigations and facilitate supporting resources and assets. In addition to the responsibilities defined below, the Cyber CI Desk Officer must be capable of operating with autonomy and leveraging their experience and knowledge to support the ACI mission. RESPONSIBILITIES:
    - Shall support the Cyber Coordination Division, which provides advice and assistance to Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) staff and support units regarding the full spectrum of cyber counterintelligence (CI) investigations, operations, and collection missions
    - Shall research emerging cyber-related methodologies, tradecraft, tools, and procedures used by Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE) and Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) against U.S. Army equities and develop information papers for leadership
    - Shall mentor and support inspections of subordinate units in the appropriate methods to collect, store, and process digital evidence
    - Shall use oral and written communication skills to conduct briefings and discussions with internal and external senior leadership and to author memoranda and finished intelligence products
    - Shall compile and disseminate metrics capturing cyber-CI activities in support of investigations, collections, and operations

    Sphinx Counterintelligence (CI) Investigations Desk Officers integrate, manage, assess, and provide focused analysis in support of CI Investigations and Operations. This is done through the review and analysis of reporting and case files related to CI investigations and the production of analytical reviews. Analytical reviews will identify investigative gaps and operational potential, to include, CI flags, CI indicators, and operational vulnerabilities which pose a CI threat to Human Intelligence activities. The roles and responsibilities of the CI Investigations Desk Officer includes conducting coordination among analytical elements of the Department of Defense (DoD). Such elements include, the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Army Service Component Commands, other government agencies, and the Department of the Army. CI Investigations Desk Officers will also provide threat information derived from CI investigations back to the division leadership. They will conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational briefings with Government Team/Branch/Division Chiefs and review active or terminated investigations for potential leads, trends, and vulnerabilities. CI Investigation Desk Officers will develop counterintelligence products to include responses to Requests For Information, investigation and operational support products, operations briefs, and analytical information reports supporting collection.
