Ability to troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial and light industrial HVAC systemsDiagnose and resolve complex issues with RTUs, split systems, economizers, VFDs, and controlsPerform start-ups, commissioning, and retrofits to improve system performanceRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specificationsCommunicate clearly with customers, project managers, and office staffMaintain accurate service documentationWork independently while supporting and guiding junior technicians when neededDeliver quality workmanship, professionalism, and integrity every dayParticipate in on-call rotation and occasional overtimeWhat Sets You Apart:
EPA Universal Certification2–10 years of commercial HVAC service experienceStrong troubleshooting and mechanical skillsExperience with Daikin, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, or similar systemsKnowledge of VRF systems, VFDs, and building automation controlsComfortable mentoring or supporting less-experienced techniciansSolid customer service and communication skillsBasic technology skills (mobile apps, service documentation)Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordPhysical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work in field conditionsComfort working on rooftops, ladders, and in tight spacesAbility to stand, kneel, and work for extended periodsManual dexterity for electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic workCommitment to following all safety procedures and codesCompensation & Employment Details:
Hourly, Non-Exempt (Full-Time)Monday–Friday with on-call rotation and overtime opportunitiesPay based on experience, skills, location, and the responsibilities of the role.
