Ensure polymer resin preparation, material modifications, accurate data collection.Accurately maintain process conditions and all other required paperwork, or records. Provide support to new product design and process development. Provide technical assistance for the Polymer Processing group and Physical Testing Laboratory if needed.Provide trouble-shooting techniques for processing a variety of resins types. Essential Job Duties

Responsible for site certification of ISO 9001.Manages the IS0 9001 systems at our Crawfordsville manufacturing site.Coordinates Quality audits between the plant and the Corporate innovation center in St Louis.Oversees manufacturing-related processes, insuring they are in control and all products produced at the facility meet the requirements of the end-use customer.Ensures that process conditions are monitored and controlled for product consistency and according to the specified conditions.Ensures that products and process changes are made only according to the sequence of activities specified in the Quality Management Systems (QMS) process.Oversees the testing in accordance with Spartech Lab Performance Policy and applicable Mil-Specifications so that all product grading is accomplished in a timely and accurate manner.Represents the plant and Spartech in all aspects of professional dealings with customers (including on-customer site), the technology community and the commercial group. Resolves and communicates on customer complaints and handles technical and quality questions from internal and external sources.Coordinates investigation and corrective action on all plant-related customer complaints.Uses Lean/Six Sigma, FMEA, and 5S tools to drive continuous improvement across our business.Assesses quality training needs and provides training to all site employees.Other duties as assigned.Requirements
