    Position Summary

    This position’s primary focus is supporting our monthly financial close and generating our monthly consolidated financial reporting packages. This position will also support budget activity and Costpoint application implementation proceses. This position requires someone who is honest, reliable, proactive, and has a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate offers strong excel capabilities and has extensive experience with Costpoint.

    Key Responsibilities

    Support the monthly financial close process, including preparing complex journal entries and account reconciliations.Generate monthly consolidated financial reporting packages with a high degree of accuracy.Manage project setup, tracking, revenue recognition, and indirect rate structures within Deltek Costpoint.Assist with budgeting activities, ERP process improvements, and implementation of new Costpoint functionality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and provide additional accounting support as needed.

    Key Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).4–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a government contracting environment.Strong hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, including project accounting and financial reporting.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a proactive, dependable, and team-oriented approach.
