    Sparks Group has partnered with a prominent healthcare facility in Washington, DC. Together we are recruiting for a Supply Technician. In this role you will be responsible for completing Supply Chain standard operating procedures for supply replenishment across all supply nodes within the organization. This includes tasks such as supply bin pulling, cleaning, filling, receiving, and replenishment. The role also involves managing the deployment and replenishment of patient care equipment and medical code carts according to prescribed procedures, techniques, and universal precautions. Additionally, the Supply Technician is responsible for identifying and managing expired supplies and maintaining the cleanliness of Supply Chain distribution areas and supply nodes. The technician responds to STAT supply requests and calls, maintaining clear communication between clinical staff and the Supply Chain Distribution team.This position will work 5a-2pm shift.

    Responsibilities:
    Complete and follow Supply Chain standard operating procedures for supply replenishment across all supply nodes within the organization. Regularly check, pull, clean, fill, and receive supply bins for full replenishment.Ensure adequate and accurate supply levels at all times to meet the anticipated demand of clinical staff and end users. Respond to changes in supply demand patterns.Demonstrate understanding and perform bin staging activities in accordance with Supply Chain standard operating procedures. Keep the staging area clean and organized.Deliver STAT items or special requests to end users as required and assist end users with over-the-counter issues.Utilize supply management technology in accordance with Supply Chain standard operating procedures. Maintain accuracy when working with technology and the enterprise resource system (ERP).Physically count the quantity of on-hand supply in Supply Chain supply areas as required to maintain accurate inventory levels.Maintain optimum inventory levels of any STAT or mission-critical items within the Supply Chain staging area.Manage and communicate stock outs and substitute items with clinical end users and the Supply Chain Distribution team.
    Qualifications/Background Profile:

    At least one year of experience in Supply Chain distribution in a healthcare environment.High School Diploma or GED.Occupational health clearance is a requirement prior to starting in your new role. This will include bloodwork, a urine drug screen, a physical examination and acquiring any necessary immunizations or boosters.
