    Qualifications/Background Profile:

    Requires own vehicle for transportation. Most job sites in DC and Northern VA, some MD as wellAbility to work with hands and have basic knowledge and use of basic toolsBasic math and reading skills along with the desire to learnApprentices must wear appropriate job site clothing (jeans, work boots, etc.) A High School Diploma or GED is required to enter programApplicants selected will be subject to a background check and drug test to meet position eligibility requirementsPosition requires own vehicle for transportation

    Responsibilities:

    Mail Processing:Operate high-speed mail equipment (inserters, sorters, etc.).Prepare and process mail, packages, and shipments.Handle electronic mail distribution (scanning, etc.).Perform mail merges and address cleanup.Ensure mail quality through address validation and barcode checks.Manage and track mail, including problem resolution with carriers.Process and record accountable mail.Perform fulfillment tasks like assembly and packaging.Shipping and Receiving:Manage shipping and receiving using automated systems.Prepare shipments using various services (USPS, FedEx, etc.).Complete shipping forms and use shipping terminals.Arrange alternative courier services.Equipment and Maintenance:Operate, clean, and maintain mail and shipping equipment.Troubleshoot and contact service for equipment issues.Administrative and Support:Track and report postage and shipping charges.Manage inventory and order supplies.Maintain mailing address databases.Provide customer service and handle special mailings.Perform data entry and use production mail software.Handle faxing.Use barcode tracking or face scanning systems.Train and mentor other employees.Workflow Optimization:Recommend process improvements for cost savings and efficiency.Estimate and schedule mailing jobs.Follow mailroom security procedures.

    Sparks Group is seeking a Field Engineer who will work in a rotating on-call schedule covering after hours/weekend calls and occasional overtime hours. This position requires daily travel
    (3-5 days a week) to customer sites typically within 200 miles of the technician’s home base, but includes occasional travel outside of the dedicated area on an as needed basis.
    Technicians will be paid mileage to client sites. The technician should sit in the Columbus/Cincinnati/Covington area as he/she will be covering clients in the states of Ohio and Kentucky,

    Responsibilities:

    • As part of a technical support group, responsible for preventive maintenance as well as monitoring and responding to alert conditions
    • Perform remote diagnostics and interface directly with customers to resolve a variety of technical problems impacting mission-critical recording processes
    • Site installations, follow-up training with the customer, general system support, and ongoing end-user training

    Qualifications/Background Profile:

    • Experience in Call/911 Recorder or VoIP technologies preferred
    • IT troubleshooting experience preferred
    • Applicable experience in more than 1 of the following areas: Windows Server, Unix, Linux, Network Monitoring,
    Network Management Systems, Telephony, VoIP, Radio Systems, Network/Telephony cabling
    • Must be able to safely list 50 pounds to chest level and with assistance, install recorder servers in server racks
    • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification, OR the ability to obtain within 90-days of employment
