    Financial Operations Analyst

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and analytical Financial & Operations Analyst to support reporting, business performance analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives within a growing Medical Equipment company. This individual will work directly with company leadership to help drive data-informed decision-making across sales, operations, finance, and overall business performance.

    The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. This role offers strong exposure to business strategy, operational analytics, financial reporting, and executive-level decision support.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports and dashboards. Analyze sales, operational, financial, and inventory data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Develop and maintain KPIs, management reports, and executive presentations. Support strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis initiatives. Monitor revenue performance, margins, inventory levels, and operational efficiency metrics. Conduct market, industry, and competitor research within the healthcare and medical equipment sectors. Assist leadership with reporting and analysis related to business growth and operational performance. Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, and vendor teams to collect, validate, and analyze data. Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, workflow efficiency, and data automation. Support ad hoc projects and analytical initiatives for senior management.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Healthcare Management, or related field. 3 years of experience in business analysis, Private Equity or Investment Banking experience a must.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to interpret data and communicate actionable business insights. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience or interest in healthcare, medical equipment, distribution, or related industries. Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or reporting automation tools. Understanding of business KPIs, financial metrics, and operational reporting. Experience supporting leadership teams with reporting and strategic analysis.     What You'll Do

    Review RFQs with a sharp eye for client, code, and standard requirements, then translate them into clear cost, schedule, and execution plans.Present compliance costs and timelines with confidence during quotation and negotiation phases.Optimize estimates for ASME Section VIII pressure vessels and packaged process equipment, balancing code compliance with cost-effectiveness and delivery accuracy.Identify sub-tier supplier requirements, maintain strong vendor relationships, and keep pricing intelligence current.Serve as the go-to expert for specification compliance arbitration during project execution.Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to incorporate atypical requirements and improve overall estimating accuracy.Use ACCE (and ideally Cleopatra) to produce high-quality estimates, then seamlessly transfer data into the ERP system.Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating standards for our core products.

    This is hands-on, high-visibility work with occasional travel and regular interaction with both internal teams and external clients/vendors.

    Who We're Looking For Smart, Hungry, and Humble

    Smart: You have strong technical depth in ASME pressure vessels, code-driven fabrication, and process equipment estimating. You can read P&IDs, drawings, and specs fluently and quickly understand cost drivers (PWHT, NDE, thick-wall, testing, etc.).Hungry: You're proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to improve every estimate and process. You see optimization opportunities and take initiative to deliver better outcomes.Humble: You're a team player who communicates clearly, builds strong relationships, and values input from engineering, fabrication, and leadership.

    Requirements

    High school diploma or GED required; further technical education or certifications a plus.Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in estimating, engineering, or fabrication of ASME pressure vessels and code-driven process equipment.Strong working knowledge of ASME Section VIII, high-pressure service, thick-wall fabrication, and associated cost impacts.Demonstrated experience estimating pressure vessels (packaged equipment / process skids experience preferred).Proficient with ACCE estimating software REQUIRED (Cleopatra experience is a strong plus).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, data sheets, and client specifications.Solid communication skills and comfort engaging with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
