The Admissions Lead reports to the Admissions Supervisor and supports Space Needle’s mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, personalization, accountability, and ownership.
The Admissions Lead is responsible for assisting Operations Managers and Supervisors in leading the Admissions Team. They will take a leading role in the training, advancement, and success of the team. They will act as a liaison between Admissions Agents and management and discuss ideas and concerns at regular meetings while maintaining a safe, fun, and positive environment.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Maintain strong communication with the management team. Ensure Admissions Agents have the tools, training, and support needed to perform their roles. Monitor and coach upselling techniques to maximize appropriate ticket pairings and Space Needle offerings. Create and oversee break schedules in compliance with company and Washington State labor laws, providing coverage as needed. Monitor and coach team members on uniform, grooming, and policy standards. Attend leadership meetings and provide departmental updates. Meet regularly with management to review team performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Manage ticket inventory, event ticket printing, product and discount updates, and shipping orders. Perform weekly POS hardware maintenance and assist with software/hardware upgrades. Support hiring, training, and development of Admissions Agents and assist with team meetings. Ensure schedules are accessible to staff and communicate coverage needs to management. Track and recommend supply orders and assist with asset tracking. Maintain professionalism and provide excellent guest service. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain the highest standards by adhering to both company and departmental standards. Understand Space Needle emergency and fire/life/safety procedures and your role in its implementation. Understand general Space Needle Security procedures. Reassure and give directions to guests in the event of an emergency.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to work special events, full-time hours, and 2 of 3 weekend days (Fri/Sat/Sun). Strong guest service skills with a professional appearance and attitude. Proven upselling abilities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use manual dexterity throughout the shift, and work in confined spaces. Strong communication skills in English. Demonstrated initiative, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Basic math skills. Knowledge of Seattle and the surrounding area preferred. Team-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable interacting with diverse populations. General computer literacy and confidence using mobile devices.Full Time, Hourly Position
Hourly Rate: $23.30 - $23.30 / hour

Requirements:GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, warehousing, and delivery of company furniture assets to support Food and Beverage Team and Events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Cleaning, prepping, maintenance, and general upkeep of company assets, including furniture. Pulling orders based on specified requirements. Prepping, loading, unloading, and setup of furniture. Assisting with deliveries and pickups to event venues. Driving box truck for deliveries. (Non CDL)Assisting in inventory management and assembly of furniture.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to all security, control and safety procedures established by organization. Experience working in high volume, fast paced warehouse environment. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds routinely. Able to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.Must have a good driving record and a valid WA State drivers license. Ability to operate a pallet jack, hand truck, box knife, box truck, and fork lift. Experience driving a box truck and a forklift a plus. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in the English language, able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Must demonstrate a “Guest First” attitude at all times.
