Southland Floors is a family owned and operated floor covering distributor with a solid 50-year history of providing high quality flooring products and excellent customer service throughout the state of Florida. Based out of Pompano Beach, FL, we are looking for a Customer Service Representative.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service on the phone and in person and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
Duties include:
- Answer phone calls
- Greet customers and assist them in placing or picking up orders.
- Provide product information and demonstrate product knowledge
- Enter sales orders into computer accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to achieve objectives
Skills:
- Math skills for calculating quantities of material needed for processing
sales orders
- Ability to discuss and explain products effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, vendors and team
members
- Flooring industry experience is an advantage
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
