Scope of Work: The Director of Development and Marketing is responsible for all aspects of fund development, with a focus on major gifts and planned giving. In partnership with the CEO, the Director of Development leads and is responsible for ensuring that SAAF meets or exceeds fundraising goals. Functions as a leader, peer, support, and resource for Development Team in the areas of donor and community relationships, volunteerism, public relations, branding, marketing, budget management and external communications.

The ADPGA will support clients, staff, and SAAF’s public policy goals across local, state, and federal political institutions. This will include prospecting, preparing, writing, submitting, and managing grant proposals and submissions for SAAF’s grant proposals to local, state, and federal government entities. The ADPGA is responsible for working with program and finance staff to collect and coordinate program statistics, budget information, personal stories, etc. to incorporate into the grant writing. The ADPGA is a full-time, Tucson local, exempt position. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
