    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGeneral Contractor is seeking a traveling construction superintendent with experience in retail bank construction and refurbishing. The Superintendent will possess: 4+ year’s commercial construction experience with a focus on financial retail projects. Excellent verbal and written communication needed. Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Trustworthy, self-motivated, passionate and dedicated to high-quality work, thorough knowledge and experience in managing construction trades, strong interpersonal capabilities; able to influence and lead. Responsible for the overall leadership of on-site construction operations. Strong analytical, problem solving, and conflict management skills, and include; daily reports, planning, coordination, and execution of the work so that projects are completed in a high quality and safe manner, meeting budget and schedule objectives. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project) a must. Knowledge of Procore and Plan Grid is a plus. ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS

    This position will support projects throught the state 

    To be successful in this role, the Superintendent will possess:

    3-5 years commercial construction experience with a focus on high-end retail projects, particularly financial banking centers.Ability to read construction documents (blue prints)Valid driver’s license and pass background checkStrong attention to detail. Organized with proficient time management skills.The ability to create, maintain and manage complicated schedules and critical paths.Excellent communication skills; experience interacting with internal and external contacts, examples to include design consultants, such as engineers & architects, sub- contractors, equipment vendors, regulatory officials and agencies.Self-Starter and planner able to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.Ability to supervise and lead a construction team to a successful completion.Resourcefulness and creativity.Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Trustworthy, self-motivated, passionate and dedicated to high-quality work.Schedule subcontractors and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.Produce daily and weekly job reports with photos.Conduct subcontract meetings to discuss job progress and safetyResponsible for overall safety on the job site and quality control planManage project close- out to include required inspections, commissioning, and completion of the punch list.          Salary Compensation: start at 80+ based on experience  Read Less

    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSoutheast General Construction, Inc., is seeking an experienced Traveling Project Manager to join our team! SEGC specializes in ground up construction and renovations of banking facilities throughout Southeastern United States

    The Project Manager reports directly to the Director of Construction, and is responsible for the overall management of various ground ups and renovation projects from the permitting phase through project completion. Renovation types include ADA renovations, general finish renovations (carpet, tile, paint, etc), and ATM additions, among others, throughout the state of Maryland and neighboring states.

    The successful candidate will coordinate subcontractors, office staff and vendors as needed to ensure project completion, while keeping management apprised of job progress. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Attend project meetings, meets with customers/clients to discuss bid status, present proposals, negotiate bids, and present/solve problem issues. Perform job walks to observe any field conditions that may affect the construction, impact the prospective bid, and/or pre-construction designs and build servicesEnsure that quality control meets Company standardsRepresent the best interests of the Company with all parties involved during the execution of assigned projectsEnsure that each assigned project is run efficiently to maximize profitability, remains on schedule and within budgetManage the change order process including performing estimates when needed, conferring with Superintendents to recommend solutions, discuss changes with customer, proposing pricing, and negotiate final change order prices.Act as a liaison between the Company, owners and any other parties involved as necessary to discuss project status, determine client satisfaction, and take immediate action to respond to any problem areasEstablish a professional relationship with the customer and interface constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviewsJOB REQUIREMENTS

    Above average knowledge of construction practices and tradesProficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, The Building Code, and ADA requirementsProficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PROCORE other tools used for communication and presentation purposes.MUST have the flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as requiredMUST have dependable transportation and valid driver's licenseExperience in LEED Construction is a PLUSMust be team-oriented and capable of working effectively with a wide variety of peopleExperienced managing multiple construction projects and professional staffPossess the ability to develop and cultivate new business relationships and opportunitiesMust present a positive, professional image and have excellent written and oral communication skillsMust have the ability to work independently, be self-directed and able to take the initiative in seeking efficiencies of processesCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
