POSITION PURPOSE:
The Respiratory Therapist Polysomnographer (RRT-RPSGT or RRT/CRT-SDS) will administer specified respiratory treatments, medications, and life support to various patients, and conducts diagnostic examination for diagnoses of cardiovascular and pulmonary ailments. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
The position of RT requires that the person has graduated from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy, with certification and registration from the National Board of Respiratory Therapy Care (NBRC).2. This individual must have a minimum of one year experience in Respiratory Therapy or the equivalent combination of education and experience. They must have at least 1 year of sleep study experience.
3. Must have a current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certification.

The working environment is generally pleasant, is clean and well maintained. The position requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, sitting and the ability to lift 35 pounds. Persons in this position are exposed to infectious diseases, including all types of blood borne pathogens, muscle diseases, muscle strains, falls and needle stick injuries. This person is occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles and frequently works near moving mechanical parts. This position is occasionally exposed to risk of radiation or electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. POSITION PURPOSE :
The Staff Physical Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment for Home Health patients according to the professional standards of the American Physical Therapy Association. NATURE AND SCOPE:
The Physical Therapist (PT) provides primary patient/client care and supervision for other care providers as outlined in this position description. Standards for physical therapy practice have been established by the Alaska State Board of Occupational Licensing, state statute, and the American Physical Therapy Association. The PT provides care to clients of SPH in accordance with established practice standards and state and federal regulations. The PT evaluates clients and develops an individualized plan of care. The PT may be required to provide therapy services in other departments of the facility depending on caseload.

What you'll do:
