    Physician Assistant Program - Director of Clinical Education Description

    South College, Dallas, Texas, invites applications for the position of Director of Clinical Education in the hybrid Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) Program. We seek a highly motivated, innovative, and collaborative Physician Assistant educator who is committed to excellence in teaching, clinical education, and student success.


    The 24-month MPAS program combines synchronous and asynchronous online instruction with immersive on-campus learning experiences, providing a rigorous curriculum comparable to that of a traditional residential program. This faculty position requires periodic travel to establish and strengthen clinical education partnerships, as well as attendance on the Dallas campus during designated instructional and program activities.


    The successful candidate will provide academic and administrative leadership for the clinical phase of the program and will play an integral role in the continued development, implementation, and assessment of the clinical education curriculum. Working collaboratively with program faculty, clinical partners, and institutional leadership, the Director of Clinical Education will oversee clinical site development and maintenance, coordinate student clinical placements, cultivate and support preceptors, ensure the effective delivery of the clinical curriculum, and maintain compliance with applicable accreditation standards and program policies.

    South College seeks candidates for a full-time Program Director position in Surgical Technology at our campus in Orlando, FL. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field, a surgical technology certification, and preference will be given to candidates who have teaching experience.

    Full-Time Nursing Faculty/Instructor - Clinical Only

    South College Pittsburgh learning site located in Cranberry Township, PA, is conducting a search for the position of Clinical Nursing Faculty (instructor/assistant professor/associate professor; commensurate with experience) for the South College School of Nursing. The position will have primary teaching responsibilities in the clinical setting; however, may cross prelicensure nursing programs depending on educational level.


    Full-time clinical faculty members are responsible for 36 clinical hours (primarily 12-hour shifts) at one of our clinical partner locations in Cranberry Township, PA and the surrounding area. The days of the week may vary from quarter to quarter. The remaining four hours will be used for clinical prep, grading, and mid/final evaluations. During periods in the quarter, there are no clinicals, the clinical faculty may assist in labs with checkoffs, setup, and instruction.


    Responsibilities:

    Under the direction of the Chair of Imaging Sciences and Radiography Program Director, the Radiography faculty member has the responsibility and accountability for classroom instruction, student evaluation and record maintenance, and takes on responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director.
