Responsibilities
Process and submit accurate medical claims to insurance carriers.Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims to ensure timely reimbursement.Review and resolve billing edits, claim rejections, and payment discrepancies.Verify insurance benefits and eligibility when needed.Communicate professionally with insurance companies, patients, and providers regarding billing inquiries.Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable billing regulations.Work collaboratively with providers and office staff to optimize the revenue cycle.Qualifications
Minimum of 3years of medical billing experience (orthopaedic or specialty practice experience preferred).Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding related to orthopaedics.Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, Tricare and workers' compensation claims.Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management software (ATHENA)Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.We Offer

Position Summary

Required
Current SC Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in good standing.Minimum of 7 years of progressive occupational therapy experience.Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience overseeing clinical teams.Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics.Strong knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation services, clinical operations, and healthcare regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Preferred
Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.Multi-site leadership experience.Experience in hand therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation.Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred.Proven success leading organizational growth initiatives.Core Competencies
