Troubleshoot, repair, and test enterprise servers and hardware componentsPerform HiPot (high-potential) tests to ensure electrical safety and complianceExecute Linux command-line diagnostics and analyze system logsRun and understand basic Python scripts for testing and automationDiagnose and replace hardware components, including CPUs, RAM, SSDs, power supplies, and network cardsIdentify and differentiate various barcode types used in the workflowRecognize different rack types and accurately place work units according to established proceduresInspect and verify the functionality of electrical outlets and socketsValidate networking connectivity, including LAN, Ethernet, and IP configurationsDocument testing results and maintain accurate recordsSupport team development while promoting safety and quality standardsQualifications
Technical school diploma or equivalent experienceMinimum of 1 year of systems or technical testing experience (3+ years preferred)Experience with server hardware, computer repair, or electronics troubleshootingFamiliarity with Linux operating systems and basic command-line operationsBasic Python scripting knowledge preferredExperience using testing equipment, measurement tools, and diagnostic instrumentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityPreferred Backgrounds
