    At Trios Southridge Hospital, we are growing our strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team size to 6+ EM physicians and 7.5+ EM Advanced Practice Providers.Our model consists of 27 hours per day of physician coverage and 22 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.Level 3 Trauma, acute care hospital with 21-bed ED, 6 fast track beds, and 14 ICU beds.Annual volume of 24,440 with 10.8% admission rate; 1.5% transfers.Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Obstetrics, and Podiatry.

    Qualifications:

    Board-certified/Board-eligible Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification.Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS. Practice in the Heart of the Community

    Scheduling:

    APPs work 11-hour shifts.Full-time is 120 hours per month.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Respond to floor codes, including neonatal resuscitation.CT in-house, Ultrasound, and MRI on call at night.Bedside Ultrasound performed by all EM physicians.

    At Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, our strong, collaborative team includes 21 physicians and six advanced practice providers (APPs), with the support of a clinical performance nurse and hospitalist coordinator.Our providers come from places worldwide, including Palestine, India, the Philippines, and the United States (OH, PA, MI).Our providers are members of numerous committees within the organization. These include infection prevention, clinical documentation excellence, inpatient sepsis, pharmacy and therapeutics, patient safety, antimicrobial stewardship, and a readmission committee.The group meets for a team huddle every Tuesday and Friday at 8 a.m. Most of the time, leaders from other departments give us 10-15-minute teaching topics. We also have a one-hour team meeting monthly where the providers vote on any changes to our workflow.

    Qualifications:

    Board Certified or Eligible Nurse PractitionerPrior hospitalist experience is strongly preferredMust be authorized to work in the US Practice in the Heart of the Community

    Scheduling:

    We have a seven on/off schedule but help cover for our teammates as needed. This is especially important to us as most providers travel out of the country frequently to visit their families.Available day shift APP openingNine physicians and two APPs provide inpatient coverage daily (7 am-7 pm).Two physicians work swing shifts to assist with admissions.One physician and one APP provide night coverage (7 pm-7 am).

    Key Responsibilities:

    We welcome the challenge of complex cases, but Mercy Hospital's ICU is closed to intensivists. The hospitalists are not responsible for codes or procedures; a team of ICU APPs covers all the codes.Currently, we admit patients to the CCU with support from cardiology. However, this practice is supposed to change as the critical care team continues hiring more providers.Our night team is responsible for working with the swing providers to see new consults in the ER and field transfer calls for patients transferring to Mercy. The APP handles the floor calls and is supported by the Medical Emergency Response Team, which handles all the code callsAfter 4 am, the night team does not physically see new consults (unless urgently warranted). They are responsible for placing basic admission orders on the new patients between 4a-7a. The nocturnist is responsible for distributing the patients to the appropriate lists for the day providers.A newly formed Medical Emergency Response Team comprised of ICU APPs provides 24/7 coverage for rapid responses and any other urgent overhead code, including code blues, strokes, sepsis alters, and violent patients.We admit patients to the CCU with close cardiology and intensivist support.

    Flexible Scheduling:

    Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.Shifts for the day position is scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; the night schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.Most of us like to spend time with our families or outdoors, so a flexible schedule is available, and we cover for each other when we're out. We all have a common goal and help each other by switching shifts if someone needs a day off on their scheduled work week.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding on approximately fourteen patients per shift and discharging when appropriate, while our night clinician will perform three admissions in addition to cross coverage.The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivists on hand 24/7. So, procedures or codes are not required.We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.We use EPIC EMR and have access to our internal informatics platform.

    RRMC is a level III trauma center with excellent cardiac, surgical, and neuroscience services. We have a 22-bed ICU that sees medical, surgical, cardiac surgery, and trauma. Roughly 25% of our patients in the ICU are cardiac patients.We have excellent relationships with consulting services like trauma surgery, neurology, and anesthesia.We have one Intensivist during the day with one APP overnight providing care in a 22 bed Med/Surg ICU (7 PM-7 AM). The Intensivist is available telephonically and can/will return to the ICU if needed.The APP averages 1-2 admissions overnight, plus procedures. We respond to codes along with the ER Physician. We do not participate in rapid response. This is a collegial team to work with, and we have excellent rapport with the Hospitalist, ER Team, and specialists.

    Qualifications:

    Graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.Active Physician Assistant license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.Must be proficient in performing ICU procedures (arterial lines and central lines)2 years of ICU experience in the scope of a PA-C Practice in the Heart of the Community

    Scheduling:

    7 on 7 off schedule, but can be flexible to meet team members needs

    Key Responsibilities:

    Providing care to patients in the ICU.The APP conducts evening rounds, works with the hospitalist on admitting patients to ICU, and performs bedside procedures (central lines, arterial lines, and intubations).
