Job Type: Full Time Schedule: Shift begins at 4am What You'll Do The CDL Warehouse Driver is the face of World Electric, driving a company provided truck to transport materials to our valued customers. This position's responsibilities include operating company equipment in a safe manner, while ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. You will: Communicate with sales associates or manager through problem solving to meet customer needs. Acts in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and World associates. Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure truck is in safe operating condition and maintains a clean appearance. Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs. Construct pallets based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery. Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment. Handle and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly. Perform other duties as assigned.
