A growing construction-related company is looking for an experienced Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to oversee the scheduling and coordination of materials for commercial projects. This role ensures materials are sourced and delivered in alignment with project timelines and budget goals. Financial reporting and project documentation are key responsibilities. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed review of plans and specifications using internal software systems
Validate estimator work to ensure product accuracy, including door handing, hardware functionality, undercuts, and jamb depth
Prepare submittals outlining products to be used on each project
Coordinate job site deliveries with clients, installation teams, and warehouse staff
Proactively anticipate project needs and resolve issues as they arise
Provide technical guidance on door and hardware products
Prepare and track change orders due to design or scope changes
Maintain project budgets and ensure gross profit targets are met
Collaborate with finance team to ensure accurate monthly billing and requisitions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with Software for Hardware (SFH) is a plus
Knowledge of Division 8, Division 6, and Division 10 construction standards is a plus
Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle
Ability to independently assess and solve problems
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management and multitasking abilities
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and persistent
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
Strong math skills

Key ResponsibilitiesManage Division 8 project activities from post-award through completion
