    Seeking Experienced Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager – Remote Opportunity

    A growing construction-related company is looking for an experienced Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to oversee the scheduling and coordination of materials for commercial projects. This role ensures materials are sourced and delivered in alignment with project timelines and budget goals. Financial reporting and project documentation are key responsibilities. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform detailed review of plans and specifications using internal software systems

    Validate estimator work to ensure product accuracy, including door handing, hardware functionality, undercuts, and jamb depth

    Prepare submittals outlining products to be used on each project

    Coordinate job site deliveries with clients, installation teams, and warehouse staff

    Proactively anticipate project needs and resolve issues as they arise

    Provide technical guidance on door and hardware products

    Prepare and track change orders due to design or scope changes

    Maintain project budgets and ensure gross profit targets are met

    Collaborate with finance team to ensure accurate monthly billing and requisitions

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    Experience with Software for Hardware (SFH) is a plus

    Knowledge of Division 8, Division 6, and Division 10 construction standards is a plus

    Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle

    Ability to independently assess and solve problems

    Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

    Strong time management and multitasking abilities

    Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and persistent

    Job Summary

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead interdepartmental teams to execute assigned projects efficiently and accurately

    Conduct cost analysis and prepare project budgets

    Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle

    Serve as the liaison between customers, vendors, and internal departments

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Preferred)

    DHI Certifications a plus

    Knowledge of commercial door hardware, hollow metal, wood doors, STC, FSC, and LEED

    Familiarity with ADA, fire, life safety, and windstorm codes

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and working knowledge of CAD

    Ability to read blueprints and specification documents

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage Division 8 project activities from post-award through completion

    Maintain comprehensive project documentation and communication records

    Review shop drawings, hardware schedules, and specifications for compliance with project and code requirements (ADA, NFPA, fire-rated, etc.)

    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle

    Oversee punch lists, warranty items, and final closeout packages

    Attend project meetings and conduct occasional job site visits

    Collaborate with internal teams, including estimating, purchasing, and logistics

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    5+ years of experience managing Division 8 (doors, frames & hardware) projects

    Strong working knowledge of Protech Titan (or similar platforms)

    Familiarity with hollow metal and wood doors, frames, and architectural hardware

    Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, hardware schedules, and submittals

    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with Procore is a plus

    AHC, DHC, or industry certifications preferred but not required
