    About The Role

    We are searching for a hands-on accounting leader responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company's financial close and reporting processes. This role plays a critical part in a multi-entity environment, supporting consolidations, intercompany activity, and project-based accounting while driving consistency and discipline across the close.

    The ideal candidate brings deep general ledger expertise, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically within a fast-paced, evolving organization.

    Responsibilities

    About The Role

    We are seeking a high-caliber Manager, Strategy & Operations to partner directly with the VP of Project Management and serve as an embedded operator with direct ownership over how projects are executed at scale. This is a high-impact role designed for someone with a management consulting background and EPC (or related) industry exposure who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution.

    About The Role

    Solar Landscape is seeking a Project Accountant to be responsible for financial oversight at the project level, with primary ownership of forecasted cost at completion (CAC/EAC) and budget integrity across assigned projects. This role partners directly with Project Managers (PMs) to develop, validate, and monitor cost forecasts on a monthly basis, while also acting as a financial control checkpoint to ensure disciplined budget adherence.

    The position sits at the intersection of project execution and finance, providing structured cost visibility, enforcing budget controls, and improving project-level financial predictability.

    Responsibilities

    1. Cost at Completion (EAC/CAC) Ownership
    Own and maintain monthly Estimated/Anticipated Cost at Completion at the project level.Partner with Project Managers to:Review committed costs, actuals, and pending exposures.Identify forecast variances and risk areas.Update cost projections based on scope changes and field intelligence.Ensure forecast integrity through documented assumptions and variance explanations.Escalate material risks or budget overruns with recommended mitigation strategies.
    2. Budget Management & Entry
    Support project budget setup and changes within financial systems.Validate that budgets are properly structured (cost codes, categories, contingencies).Monitor budget vs. actual vs. committed spend.Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective action with PMs and Finance.Maintain clean budget hygiene and audit-ready documentation.
    3. Budget Adherence & PM Support
    Serve as a financial partner to the PM team to maintain cost discipline.Provide structured reporting on budgets vs actuals, committed costs, forecast variances.Flag early warning indicators of budget overrun.Support PMs in corrective planning (reallocations, contingency usage, cost mitigation strategies).
    4. Project Purchase Order Management
    Monitor PO issuance against approved budgets.Ensure POs align to approved cost codes and budget limits, and that proper documentation and approvals are in place.Identify and resolve open or stale commitments to maintain accurate committed cost reporting.Partner with Procurement and PMs to improve PO discipline.Monitor the aging of customer billings and follow up as required. Submit monthly reports on Accounts Receivable (A/R) Aging to management.Review project Accounts Payable (A/P) to ensure correct coding and entry.Process change orders, contracts, release of liens and subcontractor payment applications.

    About The Role

    Solar Landscape is hiring a Markets & Policy Analyst to support the company's expansion and operations across a growing portfolio of markets in the United States.

    This role sits at the intersection of policy, market strategy, and commercial execution, and will contribute across a range of high-priority initiatives, including existing market optimization, new market development, and legislative and regulatory engagement. Analysts on this team are deployed flexibly based on business needs and will have the opportunity to work across multiple markets, products, and workstreams over time.

    The Markets & Policy Analyst will develop a deep understanding of state-level regulatory frameworks, market structures, and program requirements, and translate that complexity into clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions.     About The Role

    We are looking for someone who can join Solar Landscape's recently created Business Operations team and work on critical strategic initiatives designed to increase project throughput, improve cross-functional coordination, and enable us to execute on our ambitious growth agenda. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is eager to contribute to cross-functional projects, streamline processes, and gain exposure to strategic operations within the clean energy industry.

    As a Manager, Strategy & Business Operations, you will assist the executive team and functional departments in optimizing internal operations, supporting key initiatives, and ensuring projects and processes run smoothly. You will collaborate across Business Development, Finance, Technology, Policy, Marketing, Subscriber, and Operations teams, helping to advance Solar Landscape's growth objectives while developing valuable skills and experience in operational strategy.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Initiative Management: Assist in the execution of initiatives that align with Solar Landscape's growth goals, including operational efficiency and process improvements. Process Optimization: Help analyze and improve workflows across project origination, development, engineering, finance, technology, and operations to support timely project execution. Business Operations: Contribute to internal process optimization, resource tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. Project Management: Support projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables are tracked. Performance Management & KPIs: Assist in tracking operational metrics and KPIs and help identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement. Financial & Market Analysis: Support research and analysis on market trends, project performance, and industry developments. Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare materials, presentations, and reports for internal teams and leadership. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with multiple teams to facilitate clear communication and execution of initiatives. Special Projects: Support special projects as assigned by leadership, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
    Required Qualifications

    2+ years of experience in consulting or a similar strategic role, with a strong track record of problem-solving, strategic thinking, and project management. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools. Interest in clean energy and contributing to a sustainable future. Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn and take ownership of projects.Previous experience working in clean energy is a plus. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) is a plus.
    $130,000 - $150,000 a year

    Salary will vary depending on your location and job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive-based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
