Responsible for mentoring employees for success including coaching for improved performance.
· Responsible for documenting and reporting all employee and safety incidents and machine issues.
· Sort flake samples, looking for abnormalities.
· Proficient in operations of both QC labs.
· Correctly identify names and operation of all equipment.
· Responsible for management of quality queue in Baan, including transfer of rolls from WH149 into WH150, WH159 or WH192 depending on test results.
· Responsible for the presentation of the latest and historic product specific test data, daily preparation of graphs for LPMS boards.
· Responsible for incoming raw material control, such as: testing of samples from incoming staple fibers and flakes.
· Receive fiber and flake samples from SCM.
· Test amount of fiber spin finish by using oil extraction method.
· Test diameter of fibers by utilizing microscope.
· Test tensile strength and elongation of fibers by using dynamometer.
· Test flakes by cooking, sorting and checking for abnormalities.
· Communicate test results to SCM and OPS.
· Support with non-standard tests and evaluation of trial material.
· Perform Line Audits.
· Mentoring and supporting QC Lab Techs during their daily work and off hours.
