Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for the accurate labeling of parts and assemblies using various marking methods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities. 2nd Shift: 3:15PM - 1:45AM; Monday - Thursday with $1.00 differential Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Understands engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements Use the appropriate marking method (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to clearly and correctly identify materials, test pieces, and other assemblies as required Barcode scan or manually enter identification requirements in the computer Manually transfer ink marking onto part surfaces Pre-form aluminum tags before assembly Apply aluminum tags into place Assemble stainless tags onto hoses and tubes Assemble shrink sleeve over marking as required and set in place While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
