What this Role is About:
In this position, you will work closely with and learn from a seasoned Construction Manager. You'll learn the skills needed to build a Smith Douglas family home to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction. Your new skills along with your own interpersonal and customer service capabilities will serve you well in furthering your career aspirations in the field of residential construction. Oversee the community in Construction Manager’s absence:Meet with County/City InspectorsCall in inspections Request to schedule changes to Area Construction ManagerSign off on deliveriesPerform routine production activities:Change furnace filters and platformsRepair minor silt fence, tub, cabinet, vinyl window, minor cracks in drives and walks as neededInstall replacements for damaged window sashes and screens. repair damaged exterior doors and interior woodworkInstall and maintain tub signsQuality Assurance walks with homeowners.Minimum Job Requirements:
